Great service & food! Best sushi I’ve had in a while, I will definitely be returning in the near future! So many options and each as good as the others!

I went to this restaurant twice. The first time was good, and I gave a 5 star review, but the second time was so awful that I will reduce to 1 star only. The food was ok the second time, but the service on week days is absolutely horrible. I was never treated this rudely in any restaurant that i can remember. I have been to dozens of sushi restaurants before, and the overall experience was much better than Asia Express. The service from the first time was good, and the waitress was always smiling and nice. The second time, we were served by the rudest and most miserable waitress in the GTA. At the beginning, my partner saw the straw in the water was dirty which wasn't a big deal so he politely asked her for another straw, but she snapped back in refusal until he showed her a black smudge after which she awkwardly smiled and got another straw. Then we waited for more than 30 mins before the all you can eat dishes started coming but, they initially brought the wrong dishes to us, after we promptly alerted them it's for the wrong table, the same server verified whether we were lying or not by checking our iPad to which she confirmed that we were right, it was very awkward. Then, in additon to bringing out the dishes very slowly, they didn't bring some of them at all. Later as the food started coming it was either lukewarm or cold compared to our previous visit. With some dishes coming and others being missed, we placed multiple orders on the ipad to which the server came to our table without any food and asked why we placed duplicate orders. We let her know we have been waiting for more than 30 mins and several dishes were missed, she brushed it off and then the cold food started coming. She never acknowledged the slow pace or the inaccuracy indicating this was business as usual. The experience was so bad that for the first time in our lives with probably 1000s of restaurant visits we tipped 0 zero not a single cent. The server was so oblivious to how dissatisfied we were that after we paid the bill in cash she kept the change. My partner had to go over to the counter and ask for his change which was embarrassing and disappointingly necessary. The only positive was that the bill was low compared to other Japanese all you can eat in the GTA but with such a bad experience even a happy meal at McDonald's is better.

Extremely rude server, there is no way for me to describe her without being offensive. All the chicken dishes were chewy and contained a lot of cartiliage, it didn't taste right. The cooked beef dishes were slightly burnt from the outside and raw on the inside. Fortunately, no serious stomach problems but I can eat anything. Despite all this, the food was not all bad. One of the severs, though, she was mind numblingly rude, she needs help. Resist any inclination to eat here unless you have an iron gut and leather thick skin.

Surprisingly this place is decent for sushi. Ordered a 30pcs platter numerous times. Does not disappoint. On par with sushi mountain.Price is reasonable and lady was nice behind the cash

Very expensive. Over priced. Food is adequate. Sushi is mid level. Green dragon roll and more special" rolls are decent.75 dollars for all you can eat (before tip)

Delicious, fast and reasonably priced. They came to check on us numerous times to make sure we had what we needed and were happy. We eat here every few years on our way through and always enjoy it. Thanks guys!

My favourite place to get sushi (and take out!)I’ve tried 3 different places in Durham and nothing has compared to the service and the quality of the food.It’s the same every time I go and I love that. The service is always great and we are always checked in on and made sure we have everything we need. The service is always really fast.

My gf and I have made this “our spot” for years now, love the food. The service here is top notch, very friendly. It’s hard to believe it was once an Arby’s. Looking forward to the next time we go.

Dinner was great food is awesome but false advertisement! We called in advance to see the price and we were told if we paid cash we would get a 10% discount but nope when we went to pay for our meal we were charged in full not a good experience this is usually our go to place and this was not what we were expecting. Very annoyed and frustrated.

Couldn't be happier with this place!! A friend called around during Covid, and it was the only place we found that offered in dining. Safety rules and regulations were presented upon entering.Food was delicious and fresh and the bubble tea was a bonus!!Ive had issues at other sushi restaurants, but the staff here were honestly super helpful and ive never been treated so well!Asia express is now my go to" spot now and i will always chose this restaurant first."
