My car was towed to Cornwall from Ottawa in order to get the repair done on a more timely basis. The Cornwall crew kept me informed continuously which was much appreciated. They also did a great job on the car----and I'm pretty sure it was a lot cleaner than it was after the fender bender

Long detailed review = may to July 2022I was really hoping to be able to leave a good review as they are very well known and have good reviews, but unfortunately this has not been our experience.Our 2020 Mazda was damaged from the tornado in May 2022. Our insurance gave us 2 options in where to go, living in Cornwall we chose assured.We were told it would take 9-15 days, ok no problem! 7 days later we get a call saying our car is ready.All excited we rush over to discover the car was no where to being done and repaired .We were asked to pay the deductible before being shown the car not knowing it should be the oth4r way around .Car was filthy, almost like they tried to hide the poor pain job by not cleaning it. Paint over spray all over the car.Back leather seat had 2 big black marks, when I asked about it I was told we didn't look inside .Trunk had paint bubbles everywhere, was told we were being picky?! really that's how you deal with customers that had a mint condition car before the incident and expecte them to accept nothing less then almost perfect .Fast forward to today, get a 2nd call to say car is ready. Again rush over, paint looks a million times better almost like it wasn't painted the first time.Open the trunk, they damaged the moulding , once again have to ask them to come outside .He blames the pdr guy...Look inside to make sure they fixed the backseat, he makes a snarky remark about me not being happy left time.We get home, open the hood well wouldn't you know it they damaged the covers by places tools that left marks.Customer service = poor and offensivePaint = ok 2nd time around except over spray againPlacing parts back = blames the clips for being looseAttitude = poor, don't ever blame the customer especially when the damage was done by no fault of our ownOverall impression = talks a big game but definitely can't back it and will not take responsibility for anything they did wrong

I was in a panic, brand new car and a really big scratch under the rear driver side window. The rep from Carstar looked at it and said no problem. We don’t need to repaint. 15 minutes later the scratch was gone. He didn’t even charge me for the time. Awesome guys.

The service was average. The took of entier head light including indicator. When i got my car back the initially refused it was there fault. However it was simple fix. Either way Lack of responsabilité is the reason for 2 score. Hope they can improve on it.
