The place to go for bike issues. These guys are so pro. I love this place. They treat you like neighbours. Good local experts. Have been several times for different problems and never let down.

Was greeted quickly, knew the products in their store, good prices, they can order almost anything, called me by name. Great bunch of guys.

These guys do excellent work! And their prices are even better! ..I've had several bikes worked on over several years. I've gone to many shops. This one is bay far number 1 for their prices and service! I'm very grateful!

I went simply to adjust a nut on my spare bike, and the person who checked the bike decided that I needed to replace the crank arm, took the bike to the back, and replaced the arm. Of course, they charged me $40 for it. I'm not complaining about the repair cost, because I'm pretty sure it is market value. But that was not what I asked for and I went there for. I didn't do it myself because I didn't have my own tools available that day and I needed that bike working for a couple hours. I didn't want to stay arguing with the staff, as I was in a rush. So I paid, and I left. But too bad, because I was checking that place for sharpening my skates and eventually doing some tune up to my actual bike. But it won't happen.

Excellent place to rent bikes as tourist. Helpful staff get you set up with right bike for you. Also offer ice skate sharpening and bike repair which my Ottowa friend took advantage of.

Have them do a spring tune-up every year. They're quick, well-priced, and my old bike runs like brand new every time. They even replaced a rear brake nut for me free of charge! The crew here is great. Easiest five stars I've given.

Came to get my skates sharpened, and they did a lovely job on my figure skates. Would definitely recommend coming here for the price and the service!

This is another review that’s long overdue. For several years now Cyco's has been my go-to in the winter for my skate sharpening and in the summer for my bicycle care. The location by the canal is perfect for both. Great service, great prices and great integrity. They make recommendations and make sure I know what does and doesn’t need to be done. Had some real ongoing problems last summer and they offered me the options on what the alternatives were and made adjustments till everything tweaked properly. This winter we all missed out on skating so looking forward to another year at their new and improved site in Old Ottawa East for my bike. Thanks for the great service!

I brought in 3 tricycle wheels to be rebuilt. They rebuilt 2 of them but they were unable to do the third because it had a non-standard axle. They told me if I brought the bike into the shop they could true it on the bike with the axle but when I brought the bike they said they didn’t have space. They don’t have a spoke cutting machine and they don’t have much in stock for spokes so they will have to order spokes in for any wheel builds or any spoke related work which means long wait times. I was given an initial estimate of about 1 week which is why I went with them instead of the shop down the road which said 2 weeks at the time. I called every few days for updates and kept getting promised it would only be a couple more days and it ended up taking a month. They said they ordered spokes in from Toronto and they came late. The 2 wheels that they did build came out really nice however. They did warn me in advance that they were very busy in the spring time and they also suggested I go to the bike shop down the street since phatmoose has a spoke cutting machine. They also warned me they weren’t sure if they would be able to work on the third wheel in advance. It was a tough ask still frustrating it took so long. They were very friendly every time I called though and it was very cheap. They ended up undercharging me since it didn’t take them that long to do the work and because one of the staff couldn’t read the handwriting on the bill. The shop down the street in my opinion though is the place to go for sure. They are only going to take 5 days for my wheel and they had the spokes when I walked in the door. Hopefully at some point cycos gets a spoke cutting machine they are relatively cheap and will save a lot of time for their customers.
