Great day for a walk. Amazing view especially when you hear the waves crashing onto the shores.

The middle of three Sandspits on the North Shore of Lake Erie, the others being Point Pelee and Long Point.The enclosed bay is 8km long and 5km wide at the widest. It is just under 4m deep in the middle and averages less than 2m depth.There is one entrance from Lake erie at the Erieau cut.Clockwise Rondeau Bay is bordered by the communities of Erieau, Shrewsbury, Rondeau Bay Estates, Summer Place trailer park and Rondeau Provincial Park.Creeks that feed Rondeau Bay are;Bisnett and Big Creek Drain, Third Concession Drain, St George's Creek, Willow Creek, Nelles Drain, Stirling Drain, Taylor/Buchanan Drain, Cumming Drain, Hunter/Vantorre Drain, McDougall Drain, Clendening Drain, Hebblethwaite Drain, Coleman Drain, Huntley Drain, Holdaway Drain, Bates Drain, Stirling Creek and the McLean Drain which crosses Kent Rd 15 at the Summer Place Trailer Park.
