Oak Bay Beach Hotel
Overall was a good stay. There are a few things to note that we found were disappointing and inconvenient.There were no locks on the bathroom door which was weird. The microwave was locked" during our three day stay which was super inconvenient. Another thing to note is that the TV only has paid channels and live tv. There is no option to log into your Netflix or YouTube which is unfortunate as it is a pretty pricey hotel to have to pay for the movies.The pools are really nice

Oak Bay Beach Hotel
The location is stunning and so beautiful. I think the value of this place is really in the location , with the gorgeous beach front views. I love the mineral pool because it’s got a gorgeous view of the ocean & it’s a heated mineral pool so it’s comfortable to be in for long periods of time . The spa is wonderful . The prices are obviously quite high , your very much paying for the location and view . The food is good but not out of this world , you can find better food downtown Victoria , same with the spa , it’s great but you could find treatments that are just as good or better for lower prices in Victoria , but it’s a hotel and normal that the prices reflect the connivence of having everything there . The views are outstanding !

Oak Bay Beach Hotel
Hands down the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Perfect for our honeymoon! You absolutely get what you pay for. Even the cheapest room was extremely well furnished, with an amazing bathroom and jacuzzi tub. The facilities are top-notch, especially the mineral pool and hot tubs. Breathtaking views as well! If you have a car, booking through Oak Bay is a good deal for free parking. A bit out of the way from downtown, but that can also be a positive. We will be back soon!

Oak Bay Beach Hotel
Quiet and relaxing. The rooms are a bit dated but still comfortable.It's too bad children aren't allowed in the pool, even if it were for certain time periods. The pool is noisy anyway with the quiet policy not upheld so it wouldn't matter.Faro pizza was good, room service breakfast good albeit pricey. Would visit again.

Excellent service, staff were amazing! East Ocean view, truly beautiful. The Snug pub/restaurant, amazing food/views & staff really went above & beyond, good humour too. Spa & treatments were very tranquil.Mineral pool & hot tubs with ocean view, stunning.

Oak Bay Beach Hotel
Beautiful property with an outstanding ocean view. The rooms are very comfortable, and each come equipped with a large bathtub and separate shower. The heated mineral pools are amazing. The service was excellent throughout our stay. Everyone from the valet, front desk, housekeeping, pool staff, etc. was very friendly and helpful.

Oak Bay Beach Hotel
Gorgeous location. Easy to walk to Oak Bay spots. Would drive or use transit to the city areas. My room was nice. Somewhat outdated, but pleasant. The mineral pool is lovely also. Nothing spectacular, though. Enjoyed the sauna with eucalyptus. The staff were super nice & accommodating. Would definitely stay here again - preferably with a romantic partner because it's that kind of place. Lol

Oak Bay Beach Hotel
Lovely stay, large and gorgeous rooms. The pools and especially the views were lovely.I will say security/cleanliness at the pools could be a bit tighter. We got in the pools first thing and there were dirty cups from the night before still on the deck. And the next evening - someone took my friends robe and the first staff member seemed unperturbed by it.Overall the beauty of the place outweighed the negatives.

Oak Bay Beach Hotel
My recent stay at the Oak Bay Beach Hotel was unfortunately not as enjoyable as I had hoped. While the hotel has some positive features such as the spacious and clean rooms and friendly staff, there were some limitations that detracted from the overall experience.One major inconvenience was that the main restaurant was only open from Friday to Sunday, which meant that there were limited dining options during the weekdays. This could be particularly frustrating for guests who are looking to enjoy a full resort experience with on-site dining options.Another issue was the spa facilities being fully booked, despite my attempt to make a reservation one week before my check-in date. This meant that my family and I were not able to enjoy the spa during our stay, which was disappointing. Additionally, the fact that the spa closes at 7 pm as a resort hotel could be inconvenient for guests who are looking for a more flexible schedule.Furthermore, I was disappointed to find that the hotel only provided three sets of robes and slippers for a room with three guests, but only two sets of toothbrushes and bath supplies. This discrepancy in amenities could be frustrating for guests who expect consistency and completeness in the provision of hotel amenities.Despite these limitations, there were some positive aspects of the hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean, with lovely ocean views. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the mineral pool was warm and inviting.Overall, while the Oak Bay Beach Hotel has some positive features, the limited hours of the main restaurant, difficulty in booking the spa facilities, and discrepancies in amenities provision could detract from the overall experience. It's important for potential guests to be aware of these limitations when considering a stay at the hotel.

Oak Bay Beach Hotel
Very nice hotel right on the water. The pool and spa are amazing. Both the pub and Faro had excellent service and food. Only downside is there isn’t much to do around the resort. We would definitely come back!
