Delivering steel is a pain in butt! You need to call 15 minutes before arriving, but no-one answers the phone 90% of the time. Once you arrive, you have to wait until someone opens the door and there's no other way to get a hold of someone except the phone number.

If you are picking up from 21 Fenmar Drive than don't come here. Go to 51 Signet Drive. they will load you there. Dont forget to make your trailer ultra clean, otherwise they will reject it. And they dont provide the broom.

These guys make you wait there for 10 to 15 hrs for loading they dont let you use the washroom shippers are unprofessional and illmannered

Worst place to work at, they treat workers as slaves. The place is like a prison.

What's happened at this company is a complete travesty. They starved the union out for 2 years until they finally broke. Individuals and families were destroyed because of it. There were many appeals made to the Labor Minister for fairness, all to no avail. A result of the corrupt system we live under.After getting the green light from our beloved government the corporate wolves proceeded to gut the company from the bottom up. What was once a great place to work at has literally become one of the biggest hell holds this side of Toronto.The union has been fractured to the point where the union only exists in name. The 30 veterans who were allowed to return after the strike have all been compromised. They are but mere pawns for the company awaiting their retirement pensions. They will make no noise and will tow the line.The company decided the best way to maintain control of their employees was to hire nothing but immigrants. Immigrants only care about 1 thing: the paycheck. They will put up with violations, they will put up with abuses, they will put up with just about anything as long as you pay them. That's just the sad truth. The corporate wolves know it and your beloved government knows it. Hence the birth of immigration.The plant manager Brian and his deputy Eric decided during the strike they would install camera's all over the plant. Visible camera's and hidden camera's. They installed listening devices in the lunch rooms and washrooms. Key positions that were vacated after the strike were filled with the family and friends of those who worked in the offices.They literally overhauled everything to consolidate their control. They've turned the plant into a high tech prison where every move you make is monitored, every word spoken in the lunch room is recorded. The employee's are the commoners and they are the Gods. It truly is a sad state of affairs.Crown Metal Packaging is proof that slavery never ended. It just became sophisticated.

Shame Shame Shame on you ,the way you treated Canadian workers.You starved them out on strike foe 22 months in an effort to break the union.They did not break,they are now stronger.they did not break.I will NOT buy beer in cans and will advise my friends to do likewise.

Construction and lack of space to deliver or pick up from 21 Fenmar street is awful. No help to accommodate truck drivers.
