An excellent quiet walk that takes you through the back roads of Whitney Pier to the #5 gate of the old steel plant site.

Whitney Pier is a melting pot. With some.of the nicest people in the world living there they are always hospitable. There are few restaurants and stores but everything you need is available. The trail is a highlight which takes you along the harboir side of the pier down to Dominion street and the opposite way takes you to Open Hearth Park. Well groomed and wide enough for 2 or 3 people to walk side by side with benches along the way for resting.
