Hoping the owners/medical directors read this. Went into get x-rays done at and was told that EXR normally has x-ray techs, but none today. Tech left at 4pm....Medical Imaging and no X-ray tech - Owners - you really have to evaluate what your business is!No one picks up the phone either! I left with one patient waiting, and called them 5 minutes later...yup...too busy to pick up! Completely opposite of what I was told...that during the day it is too busy to pick up the phone, but the truth is EXR does not pick up the phone ! What a joke...would not recommend this place, not sure they know what they are doing!

On Friday Jan/25/19 I had a 10:00 am appt. for a Pelvic & Bladder Ultra Sound at EXR Medial Imaging 650 Kingston Road.For this Test one must drink 1 litre of Water one hour before the Test as well as Fast. The test takes approx. 45 min.I arrived at 9:45am as requested.At approx. 9:55 am another patient was called in for the same test as mine and was told it would take 45 min.At 10:00 am I was told they were running 15 minutes behind.At 10:30 am I asked how much longer and mentioned that since they were this far behind they should have phoned me and told me to either hold off drinking all that water and come in a little later or they should have changed my appointment.The receptionist quite curtly told me that there is no way they can tell ahead of time when they might run late.So when I was finally called in around 10:45 (the actual time my test should have been over) I was terribly uncomfortable and ended up having an accident placing me in a very embarrassing situation.I then found out that one of the technicians doing this test had not come in to work that morning and that they and the receptionist had know that they would be running late at 7:30 am.This is not a simple Xray but one that can become very painful for the patient if appt. times are not kept, a situation that could be avoided by simply notifying the patient ahead of time.This office is clearly not run in a very professional manner and doesn't show any respect or concern for it's patient/customers well being.

What a great experience! Esther is amazing; she was super sweet and gentle and very patient with my toddler in the room during the ultrasound, making it fun for her.Girls at the front desk were friendly as well and there was very little wait time.Thank you!!

I had an appointment for 12:30pm. I was told to come 15 mins early to check in. I showed up at exactly 12:15pm, and the receptionist was on lunch. I have no problem with someone taking a lunch break, but do not tell me to come 15 mins early when you know you will be taking lunch. That is a disrespectful waste of my time.Additionally, when I was done I asked if she was able to e-mail the report to one of my Dr's and she said fax or mail... I'm sorry, I didn't realize it was still 1993. So, I called my Dr. and asked what else, and he told me to see if they did CD's—side note, I still can't believe our health care system uses those considering most cars don't even come with CD players anymore—anyways, I asked, and it turns out they did. So why on earth was this not suggested to me when I first asked the options? Any service that makes you do the phone call and forces you to ask the right" question isn't one with your experience or customer service in mind. The receptionist's name was Janice.Furthermore

They ask to come 15 mins before the schedule appointment but they are at lunch which is fine we all need to eat but atleast have a sign to let visitors know. Receptionist is missing in action for good 15-20 mins after arrival. We have to knock on the window asking for attention wondering where the staff is. Three ladies entered at the same time for same appointment time why overbook ? Respect other people's time. The least the staff can do is to apologise.

Usually it's pretty good here for appointments. Today, different story, showed up first @ 8:55am for my scheduled appointments @ 9am & 9:40am. There was no other patients in the office. I was told Dr forgot to sign the requisition. She asks me to run over to the Dr's office for a signature which is across parking lot. I am back in 5 mins. Now there's 2 people in office who all get to go before me! Another lady comes in after me for same test & she gets to go first. I'm now here 45 mins! While I'm here she's on a personal call & misplaced my requisition. Not pleased!!

I arrived at the clinic at 3:10 and now is 4:15 and still waiting. Originally the receptionist told us that 30 mins wait. So after 45mins wait I asked her how much longer cause my son has tutor at 445 and she said she doesn't know anymore ???? 30 mins she told me is just an estimate . I would think I wait for 45 mins but now an hour later still waiting. I would have go else where from beginning if she told me the wait is 1 hour. Don't come here! I know she just works here so she doesn't care but the management should look in to this matter cause sitting witnette her gave out the client CD that belong to someone else is scary. I wouldn't want someone else know my info and business . As I am writing this now is 4:40 .Trust me why didn't i leave : cause today is my only day off and I keep hoping any mins now. Oh yes my son just went to the washroom and they all his name and they take the next person now . Lucky us . Bad place ! Will not reccomend this place .

The quality level of services covered through OHIP is going down. I’m an office manager at another practice that’s not covered by OHIP. There’s a huge difference. This would never happen there. At practices with OHIP covered services It’s almost like staff know the patients aren’t “paying” for it so they don’t care or the owners that hire the staff are not preparing them. This particular place I called on Saturday to book X-ray. They told me I can come on Sunday, walk in. They open at 8 to 12. First come, first served. I had an urgency regarding the X-ray so I told her I would be there at 8 am. She said sure. 8 am was mentioned a few times during the conversation. Now I’m here and it’s closed. Online and on the door it says 9 am open on Sunday. They are not picking up the phone and my call is not being allowed to transfer to voicemail. Now I could have misheard but it’s not just me. Another patient was waiting in the parking lot at 8 am as well because he was told the same. It also says “open the door hard”. I tried as hard as my dainty limbs allowed. Is it locked? Am I not pulling hard enough? Maybe get your door fixed? Just because the patients are OHIP doesn’t mean you get to treat them like garbage. We do pay for these services through our taxes. Have some self respect and treat others with the same. My review is long and that’s because I had an hour to sit outside your door to write it. So an employee just came in and advised me no, we Always open at 9 on Sundays….. I am not happy. What a complete waste of time. Also the door was locked and the sign says pull hard to open. So I was trying to open a locked door. What a joke.

The girl at the front desk is always wonderful. Janice was so accommodating with making my appointment. Fatima was an awesome radiologist who did my ultrasound. She introduced herself and made me feel comfortable.

Technician was competent. Hard to understand, particularly when wearing a mask. Hard to follow her instructions. Kept repeated the same instruction instead of trying to take a different approach. Coldness of the gel was not shared with me. Had to ask for a towel to clean myself. Needs coaching with respect to patient treatment.
