CIBC Branch with ATM
I don't feel valued as a customer. Just a fact. I had a cheque from my auto insurance company and they said a five business day hold. The reason is irrelevant, I will never recommend CIBC to anyone ever.5 business day holds going to a teller over an ATM or pic deposit with the app ( same as for all ) shows complete disrespect for my time as a client and the tellers right to a job.Cibc is the worst decision I'VE made in the ladt few years.

CIBC Branch with ATM
This CIBC branch is great for quick ATM transactions as there are 3 ATM machines. One ATM can withdraw $100 bill and another one can withdraw US dollars.However, if you need teller assistance, then be prepared to queue up and wait for your turn. This is no fault of the CIBC staff as they are courteous and efficient. Many staff members can provide assistance in English and Mandarin or Cantonese. It just seems the customers who come to this CIBC branch for teller assistance have numerous transactions to be completed at once, hence the long wait times.

The incompetence here is surprising. Currently, closing on a home. Looking for ways to deposit personal cheques without a 5 day hold. I was told by a teller that an advisor would be able to increase the amount. It ended up that the advisor could barely increase how much would be available by anything meaningful. They did a credit check that they said could risk our mortgage approval but should be fine." Why waste my time and risk my mortgage approval for no real helpful reason? Unbelievable."

I went there around 2:45pm, there were only 2 tellers, people were standing by the entrance door so the wait was very long.

CIBC Branch with ATM
Ignorant staff. Asked to do a bank draft like the customer in front of me did, and said they don't do it. Then went on to ask the manager and they both spoke Chinese in front of me after I asked a question. I usually wouldn't mind but I was annoyed at the fact I tried to do something that I once did before a month before and was treated like I had no idea what I was talking about. Completely unprofessional and it makes sense why CIBC isn't a popular bank choice.

The Service is so bad！I waited about 10 minuites in the line，and the teller told me they donnot have the authorization to solve the problem for me, asking me to wait 15 minutes and the advisor will help me! Then I wait 15 minutes in the lobby, and I asked the teller again.And then I was told I am so busy here
