I went here yesterday with my niece, she's gluten free. The staff had a response for it all to accommodate. Granted only three prawns are gluten free but she enjoyed them. The vermicelli in case you don't know are rice noodles so there is no wear, the spring rolls are made with rice paper as well. The staff had gluten free soy sauce for her as well and even gave her a little extra in case she wanted it. The staff was nothing but helpful and kind.Even while standing there, there was a customer that made a point to come up and say their sub was amazing. I enjoy their food every time I go.

I ordered the Prawn Vermicelli & Spring Rolls. If I could give 0 stars, I would do so. For how much they are charging, this is completely unacceptable and not worth it at all, especially as a FULL SIZE. Not only that, there is very few prawns, and the few that were there was significantly overcooked. The portion size they gave might satisfy an ant. If you're considering this place, save yourself a headache and AVOID this place. I'm expecting a full refund.

I usually get the vermicelli with chicken and spring roll. The chicken used to be good, but it was terrible today, so I don’t know if it was just a bad batch or if it’s gone down hill permanently. The chicken was over marinated and dry. No amount of sauce could make the chicken taste better. The spring roll was ok at least. There was very little salad, like less than half what every other Vietnamese place serves!

I had two sandwiches one beef one pork. And we all got sick after. I think the pork was raw early morning they didn't cook it properly. We would never eat there again. I hope this never happened to anyone else when eating meats.

Actually had to ask for a refund. Never do I end up in this situation, so that's significant. I have been to every version of Saigon charbroil in Victoria and I am a huge fan of pho soup. This was absolutely disgusting. Not only did the staff not know what they were serving they didn't understand what skimming was and had not removed any of the fat from their broth "

I ordered the crispy tofu curry soup, and it was unforgettable! Lots of fresh veggies, yummy tofu, amazing flavourful broth, lovely rice noodles, big portions!The staff was friendly!I highly recommend it! If you love soup, veggies, noodles and flavour, this is the place!I’m from out of town, but I will go here every time we come back!

was expecting a VERMICELLI AND SPRINGROLLS, was very disappointed. I enjoyed the shrimp, lettuce, sprouts, and the vermicelli....did not enjoy the plate, was expecting a bowl.did not eat the spring roll, deep fried and uncutable, not biteable, so just tasted inside and all it was is carrots....disappointednot sure about zucchini or cucumber but that was not tasty as well purple cabbage. the onions were tasty and hard to cut into bits size pieces, a few flew to the floor....to hungry to say return meal and let them know, so I will just find a different place that serves vermicelli bows.

One of the worst lemongrass coconut curry i ever had at Saigon hillside! We usually go to esquimalt location, no complaints ever! Tastes totally different than it usually does! Would never come to this location
