Cute little shop, lots of selection, good quality, and fair price. The salesperson was amazing, so sweet, and very helpful! I was recommended this shop while looking for nice quality soap for men. There were many scent options and quantity options! I also picked up a complimentary Ottawa eats magazine that included recipes and local dining spots in Ottawa and even other areas like Kingston. Would definitely recommend!

I have been a PU fan for more than 7 years. My go-to product is the Facial Serum which I use everytime I get out of the shower (I find it even helps to soothe sun burns). Their soap bar, castille soap and shampoo will forever be a household staple. Plus the staff are helpful and patient!

I really enjoy stopping by the store when I am in the Glebe. Great service and always fun to discover new products. I started with the bar shampoos: gives soft hair, the bar last long also. Right now, I am experimenting with their Onyx soap and I like how fresh the skin feels. Happy to know that we can shop online right now. Keep up the good work!

In the past few years, the prices have increased far too much. At $10 a bar, it's well beyond affordable to us. They also got rid of their buy x get 1 free" insentive. At $10 per bar

I absolutely love Purple Urchin! Their staff are always so friendly and helpful, their products are amazing and not one has let me down. My expectations are always exceeded with the quality of new products when I try them out. Their extreme cream has saved my skin from dryness, especially in the winter. This is a spot that I often recommend to people looking for high quality natural skincare.

By far, the best skin products I've ever used in my life!People have noticed an improvement in my complexion and my skin feels and looks much healthier.My favourite products are the extreme moisturizer" and "black onyx soap".You can't go wrong with anything in this store though."

Stumbled across this store walking through downtown. I was familiar with their products from other stores but had never been into this one.The sales assistant was very welcoming and helpful with what we were looking for. She was also able to recommend other products that were similar and encouraged me to take a free sample of one of the moisturizers.I bought a face wash and bar of soap. Their prices are fair for handmade, local products and I trust that the ingredients are natural and good for my skin.Would recommend their products to anyone! If you are vegan, make sure to read the ingredients as some contain goats milk.
