Central Veterinary Clinic (Bashaw)

Tried to charge us triple off what was quoted (over the phone)for rabies shots. Asked me to drop off our cat for exactly 3:45pm with a vet tech receiving her - the vet tech seems busier than the vet ….. booking in 15 min increments - we come from an hour away and these are AB winter roads. Never had anyone be so rude .

We were visiting family here for week camping and our dog Milo got really infected eyes...We showed up without appointment and they were so nice to squeezed us in!We are so thankful, doctor was very nice and made sure Milo is ok!Thank you so much very friendly clinic!

Ive been a client with all my pets, cats to horses and the level of service & care is second to none. Thanks to everyone for all you do!!

Everyone there was very friendly & very patient. The vet that I dealt with was so incredibly kind & informative. She helped me with every question I had & was in no rush to get to the next client, which is very rare & made me feel comfortable enough to remember to ask all my questions. She clearly puts her all into her job & was the absolute sweetest with my furbabies. I'll never go anywhere else. Thank you so much for the amazing service!!

We had previously had our puppy at a different vet clinic and we were told she was just constipated. She was even hospitalized for 3 days with numerous other tests and nothing was found. Our puppy has been having at least 2-3 bad days a week in obvious pain which we thought was constipation. Nothing that we did seemed to help. Fast forward to this past week ( 2 months later). My puppy was near death, and we were not taking her back to the previous vet. We went to Bashaw on an emergency call and Doctor Leighton attended our puppy. He was sure almost immediately that is was not stomach problems, but something much more severe. After running test and making sure our puppies vitals were stable, we were sent to a larger veterinary hospital that could look deeper. When we arrived they had all our information and were expecting us. Doctor Leighton had forwarded the results that he had from his testing and when we arrived at the large Veterinary hospital they immediately started working on our puppy. Within hours they had diagnosed and found the problem. It was a problem with our puppies liver. She is now receiving treatment for her condition and is full of life like we have never seen before. Had we gone elsewhere, we may have lost our precious puppy because of the misdiagnosis. I truly believe Dr Leighton and the crew in Bashaw saved our sweet little girl that day. We are forever grateful, will be clients for life, and ambassadors for Central Veterinary Clinic. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

Everyone at this clinic is very friendly and we never feel rushed when we ask questions. This is our first puppy so we are new to lots of things and we've really appreciated the care this office has provided. We drive 40 mins just to come to this clinic. Would highly recommend.

The Bashaw team is so incredibly kind and sincere. They talked us through all of our options, what they suggested and wanted to know what we thought or felt. We trust them with our dogs and will continue to do so! ❤️

the Vet who worked with Sophie is a dog whisperer! She is not usually 'compliant' with nail clipping. He was awesome. Thank you so much. She is better at walking now that her nails are trimmed.
