St. Gabriel Elementary School

I had to leave the school becuse of my parents its a really good school but there are a lot of bullying so you child might be dying inside and you might not know becuse thay tell you the day was good becuse of any threat that does happen a lot

How do I say this nicely? This is a school for neighborhood kids who don't want to rise to the challenge of learning French and most likely have no interest in going to college. The neighborhood is working class, and the kids act like it-- they bully each other (my child came home with bruises) and curse in the classroom, the adults are barely present at lunch time, and the principal is filling a seat, nothing more. (He's basically worthless). Parent-teacher communication is non-existent. Good music program and small classroom sizes are the only 2 good things about this school. For EMSB parents debating where to send their child, go to Westmount Park Elementary instead if you have the option.

Excellent school for your child , great teachers very professional , Very nice, approachiable and a great motivator principal. School supports, and volunteers are available great people I totally recommend this school,. Daycare also available with a wonderful staffs.

Worst School Known to Man/Womenkind!!!!! Save your children,,, yourself, and their futures and send them to Westmount ASAP

Lacks organization, singles children out, no constructive discipline, excessive discipline, no proper communication to parents about important issues regarding their children, filthy lockers, some overpaid lunch supervisors who feel entitled to treat the children like they are in a juvenile delinquency center, poor supervision, poor transition from grade to grade, grading on a high school level (children were not prepared and being graded poorly as a result). NOT WORTH SENDING YOUR CHILD THERE.

Amazing school if you want a fine arts core school

I would say it's an average school. There's good and bad to it. I think most of the time elementary schools lack freedom. I remember they used to say that once you got to highschool you would wish you where back in elementary. HELL NAH! In highschool you don't have bs rules that don't make sense. I'm not going to go and say it's bad though. Had some not fun times there. I did like playing music though. Also tune that piano. Maybethey already tuned it though. It's been two years since I left.

We recently moved into the EMSB zone and I am so happy we chose St Gabriel Elementary School. A great, small, community school with a focus on the arts. My son is happy there and that counts for everything!
