Hôtel Motel Penn-Mass

A comfortable if somewhat dated hotel. Our room was clean. Beds were okay. Service was fine.I booked with Expedia and they couldn't find my entry. I actually ended up typing my name into the computer for her. (She kept typing my first name and not finding anything.) It's a working class hotel, pretty much no frills.Breakfast was not offered due to COVID". (I'm writing this long after most pandemic restrictions have been lifted.)There was a somewhat hilarious sign that freaked me out in the lobby: "Do not smoke and take drugs in the room and the balcony

Great spot to crash, fantastic, courteous and sympathetic staff, always there to help when needed. Clean rooms, many stores around such as convenience stores, Uniprix, Jean Coutu, Métro, Dollarstore and a Small mall. Very close to the sanctuary in case you are looking for Jesus and fairly priced.

The rooms are cheap and comfortable. Though the furnitures and appliances are not the newest, they work decently and may even seem nostalgic. The real catch is the homemade Chinese food that the owners will gladly cook for you upon request at a reasonable rate. Once you get over the language barrier, as they are not fluent in French or English, you will find them very sweet and helping people.

We booked a queen bed room and we arrived late they told us there were no queen beds rooms left so they gave us double beds room. Very frustrating. Everything looks so old , not recommend to stay there for family vacation.You can hear other people voices from the wall. I am glad I only stayed one night.

4 stars because room was clean and spacious and took our last minute booking. Sheets and blanket smelled very freshly clean.1 star lost because of lingering smoke smell. So i dont think people adhere to the no smoking signs on the windows.

We had a booking for one night at the motel. The checkin time was at 3:00 and we arrived there at 8:00 pm, over exhausted and wanted to go to bed directly. However, when we went to the room, the room wasn't cleaned, yet. They had no other rooms to offer but just to wait for half an hour for room to get cleaned or get a refund. It was very disappointing to see such a mistake. The quality of building was very average, old carpets and rather dark hallways.

I'm a pilot and I found myself stranded in Trois Riviers as my airplane broke down at the airport after a very long day of flying. After a hellish taxi experience, and arriving at one fully booked hotel, I booked a room at hotel Penn Mass and got there around 11:45 at night. Despite my little French, the receptionist got me set up with a room. Price was reasonable for the stay, room was clean. But where this hotel really shined was its customer service. In the morning I needed to get back to my plane at the airport, and after waiting nearly an hour and a half for a taxi, the hotel workers were more than willing to give me a ride to the airport themselves. Despite the huge language barrier, they understood my situation and helped out as much as they could. Getting stranded is never fun, especially in a new place where very few understand you, but the staff at Hotel Penn Mass made my time in Trois Riviers a little less hectic and stressful. Their hospitality was extremely appreciated.

The owner is a very rude guy. Very impatient this place is from 1800 only made for junkies. This shouldn’t be a hotel by any chance. Please do not book a room here you will be very disappointed.
