Me and my boyfriend have only been here a couple times buts it’s beginning to become our go to place everything we’ve tried here has been absolutely delicious and it’s probably my favourite place in Vernon!

In my continued quest to eat at every eatery in Vernon, I visited the highly esteemed The Okanagan Eatery.I tried on Saturday, but they closed early to long weekend hours.I tried on Sunday, but they were sold out by 1:30.I tried yesterday. . .and I succeeded.They had a flat screen TV playing a 60s or 70s game show.The menu copies a newspaper format.The server was friendly and helpful. You can sit on the upper level by the windows or are on the lower level.I ordered the huge deep fried pickles. Amazing food and service. The waitress noticed they forgot my bacon before I did and had it out to me in a jiffy. The avo smash buns were so delicious. Definitely will be back.

Came in with family from out of town, they don’t speak English so we had to spend a lot of time translating the menu for them but the server was super patient.We ordered smash burgers, Cesar salad, and the fried chicken sandwhich. All fantastic and huge portions! I love their friesI think the only flaw is that they don’t have beer on tap, only cans.

We loved this cute family run restaurant! It's in an older building with no ac but we were lucky and snatched an outside table by the entrance.We shared two iced coffees which were refreshing.The blueberry brie French toast was so good. Blueberries were definitely fresh and the brie spread was delicious. It was a huge portion too that came with breakfast potatoes which were seasoned very well.We also shared the smash burger. It was on the fancier side for a smash burger (we are used to the super plain ones from Vancouver lol) but super good. Add a fried egg to it like we did and it was a great way to justify a heavy burger for brunch!

The food was out of this world! I have never had such yummy hashbrowns. I was so full thanks to the perfect portion size in my opinion. It's also amazing to be able to watch the cooks cook away and see so many people coming in, showing its a great hotspot for something yummy!

Delicious food, and friendly staff! Highly recommend. I really liked the eggs Benny. They use bread from the nearby bakery which I think makes it more than your normal brunch spot.
