Shoppers Drug Mart

I ordinarily love Shoppers Drug Marts.This one is filthy.Yes.Foul.Disgusting and unacceptable.I left my card for the Associate and attempted to call VP of SDM Operations in Toronto...no answer.

The pharmacist at the Midland shoppers is absolutely arrogant and full of himself. Came in last night for medication for a small child with Lyme disease. The younger girls working there were 10x more professional then the older ‘man’ there. They girls let me know they didn’t have the full prescription but that the male pharmacist will help us and even call a doctor for an alternative. Immediately he was rude and told us to sit down and wait because he’s dealing with other customers. There was none in the consultation line but I sat anyways and waited. When he finally decides to deal with us he just grabs the prescription and says didn’t they tell you we don’t have enough? So I said yes, that’s why they sent me here to see you, so you can figure it out and I had told him what it was for so he could understand the severity of the situation. He smirked and laughed and when asked what was so funny he said “oh it’s because you’re in an attacking mode” clearly he was in an attacking mode so I asked for someone above him to which he stated “the owner just left” so I asked for a manager, and he smiled and repeated himself about the owner. Nonetheless he is now arguing back and forth with me not letting me know who the manager is so I had to go to the front and speak to another woman who gave me a card with the number. It is appalling to see how many reviews oh THE SAME THING and yet this so called pharmacist is still employed and I would say serving customers, but it appears he does not. Midland Shoppers, if you truly care about the welfare of your patients, remove the problem instead of just replying to every review with an apology that does not fix the problem. The problem is that pharmacist. Heaven forbid the disease spread through my daughter through the night because he denied her medication

I will be following up with refusal of care. Pharmacy’s and pharmacists are there to provide care and FILL prescriptions of those issued them. I was discriminated against for the type of medication I was to pick up from this pharmacy and they refused to fill the prescription sent to them on May 17th. When I went to pick it up on the 20th. I was belittled and told to “call around”. This is unacceptable for professionals who are supposed to be providing medical support in 2023. I will be looking into what type of negligence this is considered since it is greatly impacting my mental and physical health.

Look the phone systems don’t work, and the shoppers is clearly drowning in prescription refills. You’d be better off picking a different pharmacy. All the reviews and complaints here are fairly accurate, and there’s only customer service scripted responses for each review without any action taken to resolve the phone issues.

So.. you guys say you can write prescriptions for people in need. But won't for people in need. I came to you guys for a UTI problem. One that says you guys cover. But apparently since I don't get uti's all the time I'm not allowed to get antibiotics from you. I'm in pain, uncomfortable and can't stop peeing. I'm basically being told since I'm not having normal everyday uti's. And I haven't had one in years. I'm not worthy enough to get a prescription.. but other women are allowed? You need to make it much clearer than it is. Don't put a list of services if you can't provide them. This is my first experience with this and I can't say I'm surprised with how it went.

Poorest service ever at a pharmacy. Heard pharmacists could now prescribe meds for UTI's. Was turned away in horrible pain. Clearly this girl has never had a UTI. Was referred to a website called Rocket Doctor that couldn't give me an appt. until Monday. This was Friday horrible weekend until my doc gets back.

They mistakes, forget to deliver meds and outright lie. Just last night, I called and spoke to the pharmacy to request my routine meds. Andrew(?) Promised to fill my scripts at 8:30am so they would be ready for me to pick up in early afternoon. At 4pm, none of my meds were refilled and the pharmacy assistant said to wait another 15 minutes for them to fill my scripts. Not happy with this pharmacy. Overdue to switch pharmacies

I came for a minor ailments assessment and the entire team here was incredible! The pharmacist Gabriel was efficient and friendly. Highly recommend this pharmacy.

Not once have they been on time for filling my wifes or my prescriptions. Always have an excuse to why they are not filled on time. Most disorganized pharmacy I have been to. Will be going to another pharmacy from now on.

I find what staff there is very friendly but every time I come in to pick up my prescription there's a line up practically to the front of the store! It takes ages to get your prescription. They need to have 2 people at the pick up window all the time!
