I have used Burnside windows twice in the last six months, and I couldn't be happier with the results. The first was a big job of about 20 windows on a rental property. Burnside came in with the lowest price, a quality product, and it got done within a month. The workmen were friendly, helpful and professional, cleaning up after themselves at the end of the day, and explaining what was going to happen before I had to ask. The flashing and caulking work are the best I have ever seen.The second job was replacing three windows on my own home, along with re-flashing a few others. Same as above, their work was excellent. Do yourself a favour and hire this company for your window and door projects.

Metal components should not be used in this climate. Very disappointed. The metal frosts up & if you don't leave the window open an inch, on a sunny day in the winter, you take a shower on the way out the door. The knee wall is cheap, the 10 year guarantee that the posts wouldn't heave, did and when they came back to rectify it, we were left holes in the metal work . it heaved again and we had to dig the posts out and replace the step. The self cleaning" top of the line windows & doors are a joke. We insulated and tiled the floor ourselves and that was supposed to make it a 4 season. We put in a heat register and an electric stove and our heating bill was through the roof. It is nothing but an expensive freezing mud room. Too hot in the summer to enjoy. great customer service and installation. We had a sliding patio door installed at our cottage. Burnside was quick to provide a quote. The Installation work was excellent, the guys were professional.

Could not ask for a better contractor. We had a few tasks we needed help with on our new garage build and they were on site within a few days of our request, which helped us meet some tight timelines. Meticulous, reliable and professional! They installed some windows for us, did the flashing around the doors and trim around the building.Would 10/10 recommend to our family and friends.

My parents ordered new exterior and patio doors. Wrong insert for patio door windows, but was resolved. Biggest issue was installation. Huge gaps and air coming through even with applied weather stripping. Different installer came to fix" but many months later there are STILL huge gaps around the frame. You can see the outdoor light coming through. The patio door allows blowing snow to come through. Repeatedly contacted to resolve issue and Burnside does not respond. My mother has been stuffing wads of paper towel to try and block the air

The bad: They cancelled twice at the last minute.The good:The crew did an excellent job. They were fast, efficient and the workmanship was great.
