Organize That

Effy did a FABULOUS job. During a very busy time in our lives, she came to the rescue and organized all our closets, shelves, and basement, which was no small feat. Her work is methodical and detailed. She had lots of great tips as well. Not to mention, she is such a nice person! We were extremely pleased with her work!

I am a busy professional living downtown who recently hired Effie to organize my loft - my closets , drawers and kitchen - and all I have to say is WOW. My stress level has been reduced greatly! Effie was professional, responsible, easy to deal with and very efficient. My place looks amazing. She helped me purge and organize my things . I can 'see' everything now . If you are thinking of hiring Effy and her team, DO IT. I’d never hired a professional organizer before and wondered if it would be worth it - after all, can’t I declutter myself? Maybe I could have, but it would have taken months of doing bits here and there on the weekends to accomplish what Effy and Dionne did in a day, and it wouldn’t have been anywhere near as stress-free or satisfying. I can’t tell you how good it feels to watch all the extra “stuff” exit your home all at once. I can look around my apartment now and feel at peace. Everything item I see is intentional and I no longer feel like I’m living inside a giant to-do list. The relief I feel is priceless. I shopped around before taking the leap to book, and I’m so glad I went with Effy specifically. More than anything, she has a special way with people. I have ADHD and her approach to organization took that into account so I didn’t become overwhelmed. My husband started out very skeptical that this process would be someone pressuring him to get rid of stuff he wanted to keep, but Effy immediately put him at ease and empowered him to make decisions that worked for him. He ended up getting rid of bags of stuff AND asking to book a second session. We are so grateful, and have already recommended Effy to friends and colleagues.

Whoa! A wonderful feeling...While Effy & her assistant Dion were decluttering my three clothes closets (Yes, 3), I felt such relief, perhaps joy that I had a coach who would help me determine what was essential or impracticable. Effy and her team did an absolutely phenomenal job cleaning and organizing our basement, which was a complete disaster. The whole process was seamless and easy and they required minimal input from us. The before and after difference was truly unbelievable. Effy has a true love of organization and is a spitfire of energy! She has been amazing at helping our 24 old daughter, who struggles with an executive function delay, to organize her space and make functional all of her different areas from kitchen and bathroom to her entertainment and desk areas. Effy helped to make suggestions about sectioning out clothing for different uses, as well as helping our daughter with a system that helped organize her important documents and receipts.
