As a first-time fur momma, leaving my boy Sonny for 3 weeks in a board and train was anxiety-inducing, to say the least. However, Carey has been a true gift for my boy and me!! I am so grateful for her gentle and positive approach to training. Sonny has done extremely well and thrives while at Carey's facility. The farm is amazing and pretty much doggie heaven on earth!! Sonny absolutely loves being boarded at Carey's, and I love the videos and pics (she takes amazing pictures) that Carey sends me for updates. Not only does Sonny get top-notch care, but I also truly appreciate the way Carey works with me to support my confidence in being a fur momma <3 If you are looking for the best board and train option, I would highly recommend Carey to care for and train, your beloved pooch :-)

We have known Carey for 7 years when she trained our 1st rescue puppy Ziggy, and we knew then how lucky we were to have Carey as a trainer. Our second rescue dog Finnigan came to us 2 years ago, she was rescued from a dog meat farm in South Korea. Finnigan was severely afraid of everything and everybody, it took us 5 months of patience and care for her to leave our backyard to go for a walk. Carey’s training and help was absolutely vital in Finnigan learning to trust us and the world around her. Now Finnigan’s confidence and joy is beyond anything we could have imagined compared to the traumatized puppy we first adopted. Carey has been there for our family; as an amazing trainer and as a friend who truly loves and cares for all the dogs she trains. Carey is incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and most importantly a compassionate trainer that we couldn’t recommend high enough. Simply put, if you have a fearful/traumatized dog we know that Carey can help them shed their fear and be the dog they were meant to be.

The best of the best. We have two dogs and they’re both nervous. Carey was amazing and our pups immediately took to her. We had absolutely zero worries, while they were in her care because she’s treats them like her own. When they came home they were calm and totally comfortable!

We were referred to Carey through a friend of ours and I am so grateful that we found her. She and her team have taken care of our Toller Finnegan since he was a 9 month old puppy, and I won't ever leave him with anyone else. She treats all the dogs she cares for like her own, enriching their days with training, playtime, and activities that help make them more well-rounded dogs. She also took the time to send me multiple updates a day on Finn, sending pictures and videos so that I could see he was happy and thriving. She also accommodates specific diets (raw and fresh) which is such a relief when you are dropping off your baby!Thank you for everything Carey, you have earned a client for life <3

Working with Carey to help our dog reach his potential has been a great experience. Carey is a kind and patient person who clearly cares about my dog’s wellbeing and puts that before else. I wholeheartedly trust her with my dog and know he has a great time when he is at boarding or board and train. Carey worked on his anxiety and manners and we have noticed a huge improvement.

Carey is so patient, kind and knowledge about dogs and their behaviour.Carey really got to know Penny (my dog) and her personality and this really helped with how to train Penny. I really appreciate how much time and patience Carey took to train my hyper doggo.She was able to teach Penny to leave it" and this has helped me so much with training at home. My pup is VERY impatient and this was the most valuable thing ever.The 'board and train' program' was perfect for many reasons:1. I really needed a break from 'puppy life'.2. The consistent daily reinforcement and training really worked and helped.3. Perfect place for boarding while on vacation.Carey provided post-pick up training and I was beyond impressed with what Penny learned at her time there.I was scared that Penny would 'unlearn' everything she learned but she didn't. Carey is very encouraging and we still continue to train a bit everyday with Carey's instructions.I would bring Penny back in a heartbeat and trust her with all my heart.I loved the picture/video updates and instagram posts."

No words can express our gratitude...Our family was extremely excited to have another pup enter into our home, but we were faced with what seemed like an impossible task. Bowie, our Dalmadoodle was riddled with stress and anxiety. Carey took on Bowie and dedicated time, effort and energy into him. We didn't know what the future held for Bowie and our family ... and I'm happy to say that Carey and her team changed that for us. When you entrust your furry family member to someone else, we all know that you need to feel 100% comfortable and confident that they are in good hands. Right from the get-go Carey has shown all the care, enthusiasm and knowledge that you would hope for in a professional dog trainer. Nara has enjoyed all of her stays, socializing safely with the other dogs, keeping mentally and physically active, and still getting time for snuggles. The last bit is actually key to Carey's whole approach: she genuinely cares, and her love and respect shines through in all she does! And the new location is fantastic! It's like a holiday camp for doggos! I can't recommend Carey enough!

Carey is the absolute greatest trainer I could ever ask for. I have two anxious and reactive dogs that needed a lot of confidence to function in the world! They are now both happy and healthy with the skills to quickly regulate themselves. Plus Carey and her team are amazing people that love the dogs in their care as much as the dogs love them.

Carey is a true professional and has made a huge difference with our dog Tommy.Tommy is a young Husky and is quite a handful, but Carey was able to teach him so much.Carey also provided us with a schedule that we can reference for his daily training, and she took time out to work with us, one on one. Now we can use different exercises to practice recall, and improve his skills & patience.Before we dropped Tommy off for the two-week Board & Train, he was very hard to handle. After we picked him up, we could not believe how much his behavior had changed, and how calm he was.We could not recommend Carey enough. She has worked wonders with Tommy!!:)
