I had an awesome stay. Well proportioned room, comfortable bed, en-suite bathroom, quiet and relaxing.The host was also super responsive and answered any questions almost immediately by textThere’s also a washing machine + dryer with detergent should you need it (although only supposed to use it between 16:00-20:00)

Very good food and service. A must try I'm montreal

Enjoyed a few nights here during a visit to Montreal. Price was $10 more than advertised online but the overall stay was decent. Breakfast was not available due to COVID but coffee was available, as well as access to a toaster, toaster oven, microwave and coffee machine.Communication with the host was through text and they were pretty responsive. I did notice that other guests received a tour of the shared space but I did not (perhaps because I arrived late and did a self check-in?) Not a huge issue but I realized later that I wasn't sure what I could access in the common area.The room I stayed in was comfortable with a big window, though it was attached to a balcony so I felt awkward leaving the curtains open sometimes. Otherwise, it felt cozy and the location was very central for what I needed. It's an apartment-style accommodation and I think it would be fun to rent the space out for a group trip because you could have the common space to yourself.Parking was confusing for me at night so I would recommend calling/texting the host if you're unsure.As a note, I do appreciate the host's request for guests to wear a mask in common areas. They also had extra masks and hand sanitizer available.

Never met the host, but they were just a text away whenever we needed anything. Super great service. Cute room with really nice, small bathroom. Great location for exploring Montreal while getting to live like a local for a little while.

Great food, nice rooms and super friendly people, Chez François really does represent the best in Montreal. Book early, though, he fills up quickly! Highly recommended.
