I got the Baja Fish tacos, they were very well made, the favor/texture were both in good balance. The waiters were also very nice.

I was near by looking at the steam clock. I was really hungry so when I saw this place was near, I had to go!It’s a cute little place with a nice atmosphere. The staff are welcoming and kind! Giselle is awesome! She is super patience because I am indecisive with food menus and she had great recommendations!The Beef burrito is yummy and I got a shot of tequila too. Overall a nice place for good service, quick eats and even better vibes!

So glad I followed the positive reviews for this tiny taqueria in Gastown. Delicious veggie tacos and hot sauce followed with crispy cinnamon, cream-filled churros for dessert, with quality margarita. There should be a queue running from this place. A gem!

I went to La Taqueria Poncho Taco for dinner on a Tuesday evening. I had some chips and guacamole as starter with a lime Jarritos. After that I had two Tacos with chicken and a hot sauce. I was full, if that wouldn’t have been the case I would love to try the churros for dessert.

This place is a gem! If you blink, you'll miss it. I didn't even see a sign. We walked by a few times and was indecisive on where to eat. Last minute, we walked in and sat at the bar. It's a very small place with probably 5 tables and a few seats at the bar. The little space is used very wisely. I am assuming they have a very small staff. There were 4 team members, and they all worked together cohesively. I enjoyed watching everyone working and admired the quality they put into everything. The atmosphere gave me Mexico City vibes. We ordered mezcal and tequila margaritas and they were amazing! I am a bartender myself so i enjoyed watching the drinks being made. Making drinks is an art and the way she made it, you knew it was going to be tasty. The tacos were delicious, but the best part was the churros. They were the best churros I've ever had. The outside was crispy while the inside was super moist. What a great experience it was from beginning to end. I will definitely be back the next time I am in Vancouver. If you live in the area, I advise you to check this place out. Go support these small businesses.

La Medicina was another delightful mix, with 1800 Tequila Blanco, Cointreau, ginger syrup, and lime juice – a vibrant medley that was both soothing and invigorating.But it was the food that truly stole the show. The Birria Taco was a revelation – the tender, Jalisco-style beef birria was expertly cooked and packed full of flavor. Its richness was beautifully offset by the melted cheese and the zingy salsa verde, resulting in a memorable taco experience that ignited the palate with every bite.The Carnitas were another standout. The pork shoulder confit was melt-in-your-mouth tender, its richness punctuated by slivers of juicy soft cracklings. Not sure what all the hype is about at this place.The Baja taco (Happy Hour size) was ok. Deep fried fish tasted oily and it could have used a bigger tortilla.Enjoyed the fresh pico on it.No hot sauce offered and there was zero spice to the taco.Overpriced.3/5Also got guac & chips for takeout. Not really impressed as the guac was pretty bland tasting.Tortilla chips were nice.Also overpriced.3/5Aesthetically, the food has nice presentation and I LOVED the use of old tequila bottles for table water. It made me feel like a cowboy.Service was quick and attentive.Overall pricing, even at Happy Hour, was exorbitant for what was provided.

Delicious tacos and very friendly staff! Especially the tacos asada was incredibly good! Great margaritas too
