This bakery is very special. I have been here many times, the staff is friendly and everything is fresh and delicious. An authentic European bakery that uses quality ingredients that never disappoints.

Unfortunately I have to update my review as it's under new ownership. I was happy to see the sweet lady who works behind the counter always so nice and kind. But man the quality has gone waaaay down. The croissants where dry and the potato bread I bought for my parents they asked if I had boughten it today because it was stale to pay $8 for stale bread is pretty bad. Its really to bad because they had good stuff before. Unfortunately I won't be comming here or recommending anymore to anyone.

This place has great treats and reasonable pricing. The new owners are amazing. If they had a few GF options it would be a one stop place.

Their cream puffs are delicious, but their banana bread is a little too oily and their cookies are sometimes good sometimes a bit too dry.Edit, sorry I meant lemon bread.

Really enjoy everything. The cakes are not pure sugar like the grocery stores are. The whip cream is actual cream not proccessed. -The cookies do not soak through a paper bag because of oil and the staff are a pleasure to meet.Sausage rolls are amazing by the way and the bread is why I really go.

This Bakery is a rare hidden gem in South Burnaby. It was a great find for me as I enjoy a wonderful tasty lunch there at least once per week. They bake their goods daily...savoury and sweet...everything from fresh bread to cakes! Marcy and Barbara are amazing at what they do! Superb customer service and you can always count on a smile and a laugh. Small space but a few seats to dine in...I do! Do yourself a favour and give this Bakery a shot...you will not be disappointed. Cheers!Joel
