They had an item listed on Kijiji I really wanted, but I am located in Edmonton. I asked them if they would ship it (for extra) and they said they would. The item was a countertop arcade cabinet. Very delicate and fragile, they wrapped it perfectly and it arrived totally in mint condition! Also fast shipping and a really fair price on the item itself. Great experience.

Jay is simply an amazing caring compassionate community person whom regularly is on site ready to assisting you with loans and pawns. The only thing vip pawn shop will not take as collateral would be cellular phones simply do to the magnitude of thefts and black listings phones can be problematic. However this pawn shop is also a store and has a wide arrangement and variety that is differs from normal exepirence with pawn shops the large variety of unique globally founded items can stretch from the mind to the fairly exotic. Recently I've purchased Italian racing goggles made in the 50s for 75 bucks not a bad price at all. Pricing is hit and miss however with a strong argument and proof Jay is very reasonable with prices. I also purchased a computer there and had no issues with this computer at all the system is up to date perfect smooth flow and was updated by the shop to keep it concurrent with similar new computers in which you can't be at a better place and price I got a great laptop and it beats Walmart's finest newest technology the store is arrange very nicely and is much clearer then the other pawn shops. A friendly and forgiving family run store in whichever you're situation being these guys really care about you and sincerely hope that they can make you happy everyday in life. I would give this pawn shop six stars and remains the only pawn shop I'd actually buy something from. I've never purchased anything from any other store due to price and quality remains consistently poor and surprising as well only in-store credit options opposed to being able to get a proper refund. Definitely go up Nicol street and see what will surprise you everyday is something new and exciting of a visit for me thanks for reading this review.

I cant speak of the prices paid to customers looking to pawn or sell. But I can say that as a customer looking to buy the prices are outrageous. The phone selection is a joke. I can buy brand new unopened unlocked phones of the same make and model for the same price or less. Why would I buy one with a broken back? Or any kind of damage. Half of them are probably burner phones for drug transactions. I don't want the cops triangulating my signal and getting pulled over. Its basically all garbage except for the video game selection. If you like n64 games there are some really good ones here. Or if you liked the super Nintendo they have a few units available with games. That was really all that I found interesting. How much merch is stolen is questionable. But I guess its hard to figure out what is and isn't stolen. That's what pawn shops are for. Unless I buy an n64 I won't be back. Also very dirty grungy feel to the place.

Good peeps here at VIP Pawn: Items of my personal property were stolen from my strata's locker area, so I posted the info about the items on social media. Sanjay, the owner here (I believe), actually contacted me to let me know the items were pawned to his shop, and he wants to get them back to me. Pawnshops are not compensated by police or government when this happens (only a small chance he might eventually see restitution from accused), so they are at a major financial loss. This guy was kind enough to seek me out to get my property back, even when he would be taking a pretty big monetary hit to do so. I am amazed at his kindness and generosity. Thanks again, Sanjay.

Decent shop. They always have quite a bit of inventory, and it seems to change a lot. I got a sweet guitar here, for a good price, and they threw in a case for me, no charge.

Purchased a nearly brand new snowmobile helmet for VIP last week for an amazing price . Sunjay was very helpful and shipped the helmet to northern Ontario in a week. Excellent service!
