With the recent Spring temperatures above freezing, my Wife & I noticed a few ants in our den around the fireplace. Upon calling Genie Extermination in the morning & leaving a VM, that afternoon we were called back and provided an appointment for spraying a Biological Insecticide for the following morning. The Technician arrived slightly after the appointment time and we did a “Walk Around” the Den and main floor, plus the basement with particular attention to the furnace room where the fireplace extends down to. After he prepared his solution he proceeded to spray the floors at the walls and in the furnace room he even sprayed the ceiling where the fireplace wall extends. After the treatments, we had to leave upstairs windows opened, the furnace fan on circulate and leave the house for at least two (2) hours to not be constantly exposed to the smell / fumes from the spraying. About four (4) hours later we returned and did not notice any significant odor; except in the furnace room which was heavily sprayed and which we avoided for the rest of the evening. The following morning there was no significant odor in the furnace room and we have not seen any ants in the den since the spraying. Genie offers a Guarantee that if ants do return they will come back and spray again At No Charge!

Mehdi was great! I called him when we had a mouse problem and he came the next day. He caught a mouse that was loose in our living room and and sealed up everything. He came back the following week again to check everything and seems to have solved the problem!
