Quilchena Hotel

I have not been in here in a few years, but like it's history and knowing some of the old stories in the old saloon, one the gun shots from an angry cowboy for being cutoff before ready to leave. Since being bought out by a neighboring ranch the hours have been drastically reduced, there is a problem with keeping cooks and my understanding the food quality has suffered as a result.

We always discover the most wonderful places on our secondary roads. The smaller roads are very interesting compared to the Interstate System. This beautiful Hotel is open Friday through Sunday and has a restaurant and bar.

Bit of a change in the menu for brunch. It's acceptable but it was top notch as it was with the other chef. Price has also gone up to $22. Renos are great though, opening up the bar to the parlour. But let's face it, it is the atmosphere that makes it here.

Did not stay overnight but did stay for lunch with 20 friends. Had booked ahead with Sarah the Manager for our visit. When we arrived we were greeted by Sarah who offered to take a group photo and also accommodated a tour of the Hotel.Absolutely first class service the entire time we were there. Tables were set even though we were early and staff were very attentive to our rather large group. Food was excellent and I would freely recommend this place to anyone. Decor is truly unique and millwork is stunning. You really feel like you are stepping back in time. And there really are bullet holes in the bar. Makes for a really interesting way to spend an afternoon

Incredibly slow service. My partner and I go there for Sunday brunch and it normally takes forever for a waitress to seat us. The food, however, is super good.

Beautiful Heritage Hotel, bar, dining room, staircases. Hotel can be booked for events, meals are tasty, service is good.

We were thrilled to eat at a place with a lot of history which was suggested by our friends.We all had the prime rib special, I had the tomatoe basil soup to start which was delicious, my wife had the ceasar salad but the dressing was a disappointment seems it was a oil dressing and not a proper ceasar dressing.When dinner was served the potatoes and veggies were not fully cooked, also the gravy was not hot and the yorkies were dismal to other customers who had great big well cooked yorkies. Over all a disappointment for dinner.

Great atmosphere and amazing food! The servers are always wonderful and accommodating. We just went this evening and Don was specifically great :) 100 % recommend!

The staff are awesome, friendly, professional. The room I was in was beautifully appointed, nice bathroom! The saloon was fun,great bartender. The food in the dining room was very good! All the staff did a great job! Nice quiet stay,I'll be back!
