I loved Janet’s fair, kind approach to dog training. All her tips worked so well and being able to practice with her in our home and at the dog park was so helpful. It was fun, lots of laughs and great to pick her brain with my specific questions. Would highly recommend her to anyone thinking of getting a dog trainer!

Janet was fabulous and our dog absolutely loved the class! We learned how to do basic nose work at home which challenges him, tires him out and make him so happy! Plus the kids can get involved! We can’t wait to do the next class and learn more.

We did an introduction class with our 10 month old puppy Jack on Sept. 10th 2022.Not knowing what expect Janet made us feel welcomed. The class was informative, funny and alot of fun. I really appreciated her approach with the dogs as it was friendly and supportive.She was a wealth of knowledge of dog behavior. She offered clear instructions and the reasons why we were doing what we were doing. Our dog really enjoyed the class and couldn't wait when it was his turn. I would recommend this trainer for anyone who would like help their dog have fun while learning new tasks.

I signed up for the beginner nosework workshop and it was so much fun! The people and the dogs loved it! Janet is super personable and knowledgeable and made it very interesting and enjoyable for all.

We had Joey in the intro course. We both absolutely loved it.! Janet’s love of dogs and her rapport with them was endearing and fun! Even in just the 2.5 hour long class we learned a lot.! Would highly recommend it!

I had no idea what to expect when I signed up for the Beginner Nose Work Class - but knowing that Janet is always very positive with our dogs and our handling of our little furry friend, I was looking forward to starting this class with Olive - my crazy and overactive three year-old Labradoodle. Janet was very patient and informative - every little bit of information she gave us is very useful and is a learning experience. I agree with the comment of another student, that we can really tell that Janet loves teaching this class. The class was well organized and comfortable. I can't wait to start our Intro to Odor classes in March.

Janet was so welcoming and patient with everyone's dogs in our beginner's nose work class. You can really tell that Janet loves teaching this class. The class was set up really nicely in that each dog got its own turn in the room to get comfortable without any distractions from other dogs. Janet did a great job by first making sure each dog was comfortable in this new environment.. and then gradually building from there.I can't wait for the next set of classes!

Janet is a phenomenal, very positive trainer, and I can't imagine navigating my older puppy's exuberant adolescence without her classes! She treats each dog as a smart, actively thinking individual. She tailors her advice to the specific needs of each dog, and explains her reasons very clearly. I have learned a tremendous amount listening to her advise others and talk about what each dog is experiencing, as well as from her support to me. Her Fundamentals class helped me with my adolescent puppy hugely. He adores Nosework, which gives him mental stimulation that has greatly enriched his life. When I was considering getting a second puppy, one reason I felt I could do so was knowing that Janet was there if I encountered challenges. Today I completed the Fundamentals class with that puppy, who started the course quite anxious and ended up loving the experience because of Janet's thoughtful and empathetic approach to her needs. I cannot imagine a better training experience than what I've had with Janet.

Janet's approach to nose work is amazing, and perfect for my reactive dog. I look forward to working with her again in the future.I strongly recommend her as a trainer.
