This was the second segment of my first travel since Covid. The first was attending a chamber music seminar held at Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA. The occasion was to celebrate my older sister, who passed away at the end of January. Since the threat of Covid had diminished the family decided we could gather. Element Vancouver Metrotown was the perfect location since her condo was in this neighborhood. Also, public transportation and Sky train was handy and made getting into town from the airport and around town easy. Parking was convenient for friends and family to visit. Shopping malls, grocery stores and restaurants were also within walking distance. My son and his family and I had a suite that had a fridge with freezer, stove top, microwave oven, dishes, utensils, kettle, and a supply of tea and coffee. There was a good sized work table, sofa chair and ottoman, two queen size beds each with four fluffy pillows and comforters. The 19 month granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed the comfortable bed for play and sleep. We elected to have housekeeping services every other day. There was more than adequate towels and paper supplies. Checking in and out was seamless. Instead of taking the stroller up and down, it was checked by the concierge and held until we were ready to pick it up. The hotel is well maintained. There was complimentary full hot and continental breakfast as well as daily afternoon snack of cold cuts, cubed cheese with crackers and pita bits. For sure service dogs are allowed. I am uncertain about pets in general.

The staff at this site don't know how to communicate. I had 2 of my 8 staff staying here for a project and spent over $10,000. They partially charged me on a random day before their check out. They did not send me invoices after they billed me and I had to request them and then when I asked them why they billed me this way, the manager, Alan told me the charges that were on the invoice they sent me weren't accurate and I'd get other charges and a final invoice at the end. He doesn't seem to understand requirements of business expenses and what is needed or his explanation was out of whack, but he couldn't quite grasp the issue and neither could his other staff. The concept of an invoice to match charges that were billed on a card, doesn't seem to resonate with him. There are much better hotels to work with if you are paying as a third party. Avoid element.

A statement has been made about the problems encountered during the stay and feedback to Marriott customer service. The front desk has given me an apology, I just hope that the next customers will get better service, the lack of trust is irreparable, I hope the hotel will cherish every upcoming guest

I have stayed at this hotel on business a couple of times now and the people who work here are game changing good at what they do. My most recent stay has been over the past two weeks where I have been lucky enough to have my partner and fifteen month old daughter staying with me. The staff have been altogether incredible. From the front desk, to the cafe, housekeepers and maintenance, everyone has been personable and accommodating to two, first-time parents making the best of a sometimes challenging work/life situation. It has been some of the best service I have had in a hotel and I travel a fair bit. The hotel itself and the amenities are good, maybe average, and the price point is a bit high in comparison to others in the neighbourhood. I think adding a full service lounge would be a nice improvement. Room had a good view and its nice to have the kitchette on a longer stay. Will be back and can't say enough about the staff.

Had a great stay in this hotel, it is very modern and clean. The rooms have laminate floors instead of the typical carpet which made the space feel clean. I had a kitchenette in my suite which was convenient. Service was fabulous and the breakfast options were great. Would stay here again in the future. Location is very close to different parts of the city, however the ability to get into the hotel parking is challenging depending on the direction you're coming in from. Recommend checking google maps to plan your route to and from your destination as you can't turn in from both directions.

Great view, great breakfast, ok clean rooms, they have sauna as well but my son cut his foot in the pool, stairs in the pool had something there and also the jacuzzi/hottub in pool area was not working.

We loved loved loved this hotel. Great location in Burnaby next to lots of restaurants. Free breakfast was included and it was delicious, toast, bagels, eggs, coffee, fruit, yogurt, all great. There is a small swimming pool, hot tub, dry sauna, and gym. Parking was an extra $20.

Clean, spacious and great views. Bonus points for having a sauna, hot tub and decent gym. Free continental breakfast too. TV is a bit small but not a big deal for me personally.

I love hotel! Great locations with so many restaurant and other amenities in the area. Love that it's connect to a GoodLife and a great Italian restaurant! The rooms are clean and new. Best part is the mini kitchen that I can cook breakfast and have a fridge for snacks and drinks.

Fantastic stay, close to many, many amenities. Room was great and thermostat easy to control. Plenty of underground parking. There is a breakfast. The dinner snack is small (as advertised up front), but it's a great kickoff to finding a great meal in the area. So much to choose from! The staff were all super fantastic and I'm looking forward to my next stay. Kudos!
