Dan the Window Man

Dan starting doing our windows after the store renovations. He does an amazing job. Always on time, and goes the extra mile to be sure the job is done to our satisfaction.

I'm not easily impressed, and I've had a lot of bad experiences with contractors/renovators, so I was hesitant reaching out for more help.But this team was fantastic. Very professional, fast, efficient, communicative and highly skilled.These guys know what they're doing. I had several windows replaced, and a couple of old doors recapped/framed. It all looks amazing.I highly recommend giving them a shot if you're looking for this kind of work. I know I'll be looking to them for future projects.

Dan and his installer Eli were fantastic. Prompt, honest, friendly and efficient. Prices were definitely the most reasonable.Eli was also able to answer any questions I may have had.I would 100% recommend them!!

Dan's man shows up and needs an extension cord. Had a couple knob and tube outlets , so no ground . He proceeded to cut the ground off the cord ,said he does it all the time. Very first new window in a 1909 home. Was excited till I heard a bang. Dan's man was outside on the second floor working on the new window. His drill , attached to my extension cord falls out of his hand and smashes into a stained glass window on the first floor.Called Dan The Man and he said the window was already broke. Awesome workmanship great product great installation

We were very happy with the three windows and side door installed by Dan and his technician. Very professional and Dan answered all our questions when we were given a quote. Price was reasonable and delivery took about eight weeks. Installation was done efficiently in about four hours. Dan went above and beyond our expectations, as we also needed some paintwork done and repair to eavestrough. We were more than satisfied with all the work done and would recommend this company.

We had a sliding patio door installed, and we were blown away at the installation. The technician had to grind our opening to fit the door jams and track. The technician didn't put a sheet up to stop the dust and grit from the grinding going directly into our kitchen. My wife was in tears at the mess. Then to top things off the technician did not cap the outside properly with aluminum, instead he used a bucket full of caulking. I immediatly spoke up to him when I realized what he had done. He was put off as he would have to return another day and lose money on the installation... He did return and cap correctly, but between the grinding and short cuts my wife and I were not impressed.Now we are 5 years in and our door latch has broke and we cannot lock our door. Several calls with little response. Seems their customer service is very poor afterwards. I also complained about the excessive sweating during the winter around the window edges. Only does this when there is below zero temperatures. Apparently this is normal? We were told to contact the manufacturer... My cousin had a patio door installed the same year and it doesn't sweat like ours in the same weather inside and outside. My cousin keeps the house the same temperature and the humidity within a couple percent of our house. Our patio doors are facing the same south direction, clearly the issue is with either the installation, or the door quality. Most likely a combination of both.At minimum I would not pay in full until the job is done to your satisfaction and be sure to watch the installation. If all goes well then great, but hopefully there are no issues afterwards.

All I can say, these guys knows windows and doors. They have good selection on reasonable price. Very knowledgeable peoples. Excellent service.
