The Acorn Tree

Acorn Tree is a special gem of a daycare and we are so grateful we were able to benefit from Elidah and her team's calm, caring natures. Our daughter absolutely thrived at Acorn Tree, loved every day she spent there and was thoroughly prepared for Kindergarten this year.

There is not enough ways to say I LOVE Acorn Tree. Since our first experience the staff were warm and inviting. As my little ones first group experience, I was apprehensive about enrolling anywhere. After meeting with Acorn Tree every doubt I had was replaced with excitement. Knowing my little one would have the same core values as at home.Since enrollment my little one has flourished in all aspects of development. Communication between staff is amazing. I know if one staff member is informed all will be on top of what ever is needed. As any parent I strive to provide the best for my little one. I know I have succeeded in this aspect by sending my little one to Acorn Tree

As soon as you step into The Acorn Tree classroom you will be in awe of the thoughtfulness that goes into their program. The provocations on the tables, the child-inspired themes, the ability to explore and create with all sorts of mediums, and top it off with loving and nurturing teachers. Our family highly recommends Elidah and her team!

Our experience with the Acorn Tree has been wonderful. Our son loves attending there. All the teachers are loving and attentive. Lots of hands on learning and creativity.

As a busy, full-time working single mother, I was unable to attend either of my scheduled orientations at the centre. I was never given a reminder or phone call to make sure everything was okay. I sent a sincere apology to the owner requesting another orientation and she declined rescheduling. After her reply to my email I felt it was best that we never went and the centre would not have been a fit for my daughter or our family. We have an amazing relationship with our current centre and will keep our daughter there until she goes to kindergarten. Not a good vibe!

We very blessed to have had 2.5 years at the Acorn Tree with our youngest son. Our son had a hard time transitioning from being home with us to going to school and the staff were calm, nurturing and patient with him as he got use to his new schedule and preschool. I loved their philosophy regarding learning and play and how calming and beautiful their classroom was.Elidah and her staff will always have a special place in our hearts. ❤️

We LOVE The Acorn Tree. Our son is so happy to go every time and that is all because of the wonderful staff. Kindness is at the forefront of this program. They are teaching and demonstrating life long skills for these young ones. So happy with our decision to send our son here.

My experience with Acorn tree has been incredible. Ms. Elidah, Ms. Katie, Ms. Sarah and Ms. Shannon have been instrumental in my child’s growth and social development. They are professional, kind, respectful, fun, creative, and truly care about each and every child at Acorn tree. I will be sad to say goodbye when my child enters kindergarten next year!

The stars aligned and we were able to find and connect with Ms Elidah and her lovely team. From the first phone call I felt welcomed. During our visit at the centre, my daughter and I were met with kindness and grace. My daughter loved coming each day to “school” and as a working mom, this is the greatest gift. Thank you Acorn Tree for all you do for kiddos and for parents!
