Rideau Ferry Marine

I bought my boat from Brian and Jordan 15 years ago, and that was just the beginning of the fabulous service. I take it there for winterization, storage, maintenance, and spring readiness every year. I ALWAYS get personal, friendly, and honest advice and service like nowhere else. A few weeks ago I had an engine problem, and they went waaaaay out of their way to get it fixed immediately. I cannot say enough about them - I will absolutely continue to take my boat there, and buy my next one from them too!

I was very disappointed with our experience here. It took over a week to get ahold of someone. I left a voicemail and sent an email with no reply. We were interested in purchasing a boat they were selling on consignment. My brother kept calling and was finally able to talk to someone. We scheduled a visit and called to confirm day of. No one answered. We called 5 times. We sent an email with no answer. The staff member we had talked to emailed back a few days later to apologize for being out of the shop. Thank goodness we didn’t drive out there. We appreciate the answers provided to us in the email that we requested. However when we finally made the trip out there this week, no one was helpful or aware we were coming. We called the day before to confirm our arrival. We talked to someone who pointed us to the boat ‘on the dock, over there, still covered for the winter’. We walked over ourselves to look at a boat that was 90% covered. No one came to help us. Nor did anyone offer. And it turned out the boat (propeller as it was one of the only parts we could see) was in rough shape. We specifically asked in our sea of questions and they said the propeller was ‘fine’. We just left and didn’t talk to anyone else. The trip was not worth the $30 in gas.
