Some of my favorite spices and blends. Makes me feel like I am actually a decent cook. Avoided cooking prior to using these blends just because I was never sure what spices to use, and these blends solved my problem. Always a delicious end result using Axe to Grind Blends, the only spices you will now fine in my cupboards!

Such delicious spice blends! Love the ranch on popcorn and my boyfriend is obsessed with the everything bagel blend.

Axe to Grind Foods
Axe to Grind Foods is a premium, almost luxury, purveyor of spices, spice blends and more - but at prices that are very competitive with the oxidized dried out flavorless fossilized low grade no good crunchy bland terrible spices of the mass marketed grocery store varieties. The blends contain no fillers, like salt and sugar, which blends from competitors typically contain, to pad out the weight of the blends to get more $$ per gram. The spices from here are so fresh that they have nuances that you may have never smelled or tasted with the spices from other brands. The whole white peppercorns are particularly good. Sort of sweet but peppery. The peppery flavours are almost floral in their depth and richness.I'm not ashamed to admit that I received a small sample of incredibly fresh cinnamon from here and it smelled so good... that it never made it into any food. I used to give it's envelope a big sniff whenever I was cooking so that I could revel in it's rich soothing complexity. Eventually it became tired and old. Sad, it was so invigorating.Try the blends with the suggested meats/veggies then just go crazy. Close your eyes, spin in a circle and blindly pick a blend and dust it onto whatever you are cooking. You can't go wrong. The only con with Axe to Grind is that once you get used to cooking with their products, everything else tastes bland and boring.
