Grabbed the small smoked meat poutine and a double espresso. The espresso was delicious and poutine was incredible. Small is perfect for one person, I'd recommend a large if you're sharing. Really great comfy/cozy feel and vibe. The woman at the front was very welcoming and nice.

This place is a must-stop along highway 97.Ran by true frenchies, they specialize in poutine and maple syrup. The poutine is peppercorn based so safe for the veggie-roadtrippers. The maple coffee is also a must.

YOU MUST STOP BY HERE!The owner is a delightful frenchie and the food is so delicious. Bring your appetite however, cause you get a generous portion for your money.The smoked meat poutine was the highlight and the coffee is excellent.Whenever I pass through 70 mile I will always make a pilgrimage to this gem of a cafe.Never change, Sugar Shack!

The food was ok. The smoked meat is incredible. The syrup is reasonably priced. The rest of the food is a little pricey, but the quantity you get is definitely showing the value. The Dijon had a little too much bite for my taste. However it was good food overall.

Not bad at all.They advertise that they are the best poutine West of Québec and coming from Québec, I can pretty well much agree! Fries are amazing, the sauce can be a bit richer, but still good and cheese is tasty, but not squeaky. The smoked meat is delicious but definitely not a real Montréal smoked meat sandwich." Family owned and operated, with in-house smoked Montreal meat and fresh cut potatoes this place is a must stop . With smoked meat sandwich and the best darn poutine west of Quebec you won’t leave disappointed or hungry. They have a large selection of Canadian maple syrup and maple candies as well as a full breakfast menu. They staff (family) are always happy and friendly and good for a laugh and smile .
