The team also breeds horses and equine therapy is available, so very well rounded. Come here if you are looking to get a solid foundation for horsemanship. LGBTQ+ friendly, good COVID protocols. Can't recommend enough.

We had an amazing experience with the horse riding here. The instructor/owner was very humble and very warm. She welcomed us with all heart and was gentle and patient while explaining every little detail to us. Definitely coming back in Spring!

I'm boarding my mare at Churchill Chimes for 18 months now and I am very happy there because my horse is happy there! Barb and Rob are doing an amazing job to maintain the farm all year round! No matter what weather is, horses always have a healthy and safe environment to live!!! I visit and exercise my horse everyday (no matter what weather is) and I have always a safe space available to play with my horse. Churchill Chimes Equestrian Centre was my first barn and I rode there from 2005-2012. Barb Malcolm (owner and coach) taught me everything I know. Churchill Chimes is a welcoming and friendly barn that caters to all levels of equestrians and experience. I cannot imagine a better place to ride. Barb offers many opportunities (showing, hacking, seminars, games, etc.) and also the opportunity to learn in a wonderful environment with horses that love their job. From the horses to the staff, Churchill Chimes embodies kindness, adventure, and most of all, the love of horse back riding!

My daughter rides at Churchill Chimes and we couldn't be happier with her experience here. Barb Malcolm, owner and coach, is by far the very best you can come by. Her expertise is absolutely second to none. Aside from her extensive equine knowledge she is one of the most passionate, humble and kind humans you could hope to encounter. Each of her students gets equal attention - never one more than another. Her work ethic is something that is unmatched. She is encouraging, funny, enthusiastic and wants every rider/student to feel accomplished. She cheers you on and celebrates your achievements.Her herd of horses is like something I have never seen. Some people can find something to complain about anywhere. Horse care is the number one priority, not the look of the property. I tried riding at other barns when I did not live in the GTA and none of them cut it. I found the horses overworked or the coaching practices unsafe everywhere I went -- I had been truly spoiled growing up riding at Churchill Chimes. It is not a show barn but it is a barn that can show you how to work toward building a meaningful relationship with horses.

Our daughter has been learning to ride at Churchill Chimes for the past two years. She has grown to be a confident, motivated and skilled rider.
