Global Moving Logistics has helped move my family as well as my fathers-in-law’s family. My wife had a couple issues with the dispatcher as he refused to speak with her since she was not on the contract or a contact. But otherwise, the crew were very friendly and fast. They provided a great service for both me and my father-in-law’s family.

Abby and Pablos were take care of the booking and accommodating our schedule, Agile and Sam was carefully wrapping and loading and Shawn and his colleague were great in delivering and unloading our things. I relocated with Global Moving this August and some of my stuff got damaged. I wasn’t quite happy to be honest, but Tammy from their claims team was very sweet and nice. She helped me go through their policy and make a claim, and I am happy with the company’s settlement procedures.

One thing I like about Global Moving is that they have trained their staff very well. Amir was at our house for pickup and was working super hard. I thought he was very experienced but found out it was his first week working for Global. Its great to see that this company puts time into training their employees who handle people’s life for a living. My stuff is currently in storage with them, but I am sure everything will go alright. Will update if anything changes

Do not use this company. Although the employees who handled the packing and shipping of our belongings were friendly, honest, and hardworking, I would never use this moving company again. While most of our belongings arrived undamaged, we did experience minor damage to a dresser, a lamp, and a few boxes - this was somewhat expected given the fast pace of moving and the inherent risk of some damage.Unfortunately, the management of this company is deplorable. I was initially given a quote of $1400, with the assurance that if my move stayed under 3000lbs, it would fall within that cost, minus the deposit I had paid during booking. So, upon delivery I would have needed to pay $1200 via e-transfer.Just one day after our belongings were picked up, I was shocked to receive an email with a bill for $1900, even though our items weighed only 2400lbs. I tried to contact the billing department to clarify why the quote had changed, but I didn't receive any response for three days. It was a stressful time, and I was worried about the whereabouts of our belongings. After three days waiting, I called Abby for an explanation, but she met me with hostility and deceit. She claimed that the quote was based on a weight limit of 3000lbs, and since we didn't meet that weight, we would be charged extra. When I questioned why adding more weight to our shipment would result in a lower fee, Abby responded that it would indeed be cheaper if we had sent 600lbs more. Why would sending more stuff (more weight, more money on gas, more labour) result in lower fees? This could not be explained to me and goes against common business sense and general logic.Subsequently, for the next two days, no one responded to my emails or phone calls, leaving me uncertain about the status of my belongings. After being ghosted, my partner and I power called Abby to ensure that we would still receive our belongings. At this point, I thought we had been scammed. Even when we got a hold of Abby, she could not communicate the delivery timeline, despite a guarantee of a maximum five-day delivery. We ended up demanding a timeline, and ultimately received our belongings in seven days. The 2 day delay would have been totally fine had we received communication about the delivery details. Instead, we felt as though we were in limbo, unsure if we would receive our belongings.From my experience, it appears that this company employs questionable business practices. Their communication is dishonest, and they demonstrate a lack of good business ethics. Although they offer competitive prices and have hardworking employees, the management led by Abby is particularly disappointing. While I would not have mind paying $1900 for our move, I'm upset about how the situation was mishandled, the dishonesty and the false information I was given.Another concerning aspect I observed is that the company appears to have been incorporated in 2023 and has only a handful of reviews on Google, despite the employees on the ground claiming to have worked for the company for years. This suggests that the company may be frequently changing its name or reincorporating to avoid accountability for poor performance or customer complaints.In light of my experience, I cannot recommend this company to anyone. I intend to report them to the Alberta Better Business Bureau and have even considered taking legal action against Abby. This is not so much about money, but more so about principle and taking advantage of consumers fraudulently. It's unacceptable for Abby to take advantage of customers who are already in a vulnerable position. As customers entrust their possessions to her, they deserve clear communication, reliable service and honest quotes. For me, it was only $500 extra, but for people completing larger moves with more add ons these dishonest business practices could result in significant loses.

Relocated my grandmother from Kelowna to Saskatoon with Global Moving and booked with Amy. I was a little disappointed regarding the delay in time, but I do understand that it was due to the end of month and busy period. However, given that I stressed out how important it was to deliver for her on time, they met their promises, and I couldn’t be any happier.

Absolutely Trash company. Don't hire. Everything went Bad. Poor communication, showed up 36hrs late. They packed boxes into thier own bigger boxes then charged us for the boxes. They put 2 TVs and 3 mirrors In 1 TV Box. Broke and Damaged so much of our stuff.

Don't use this company. Global Moving Logistics/Abby (the only representative you will talk to) will promise you the world with no hidden fees but it's a lie. I got charged an additional $ 1500 in fees that were never discussed.Since I didn't want to pay those additional fees, they threatened to hold my stuff for ransom. They threatened to bring my stuff back to Calgary (it was during moving day and the truck was right outside), then charge me an additional $ 1500 on top of everything else (on top of the 1500$ mentioned above, so a total of $ 3000 in extra fees). If I didn't pay the whole thing within 15 days, they threatened to start selling all of my stuff. So I paid in full.Now of course I have damages. You must submit your damages within 10 days. I email and phoned within those 10 days thankfully however THEY WILL GHOST YOU. Now that over a month has passed they tell me I cant claim anything because its been over their magical 10-day limit since the move. Wish me luck.
