Lewis' Karate Schools
LKS is the best martial arts school in Barrie, as far as I'm concerned. My girls and I have been attending Lewis Karate Schools since 2009 and haven't looked back. They have been mentors, instructors and friends for the last decade, and my girls have grown incredibly as individuals because of their guidance. I truly appreciate the guidance my girls and I have gotten over the years.

I have been training at Lewis' Karate School since 2006, and have been constantly taught and treated extremely well. The school has wonderful, open staff who have a vast understanding of martial arts. I would definitely recommend the school to all age groups!

Lewis karate school is a five star ! Our family are very happy with all the educated instructors and staff, they are incredible. Mr. Lewis is highly experienced on every level of martial arts. Lewis' Karate Schools
I've been a member of Lewis/Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Barrie for about 9 years now and have my children enrolled there as well. It is an excellent jiu-jitsu school for all ages 5+ with a clean facility and a great location for us in South Barrie. This is a great outlet for fun, exercise, and learning self-defense. This school offers a good mix of competition style Jiu-Jitsu as well as practical Street Self Defense. The culture of the school is also well suited for working professionals across all age groups. Trevor is a highly decorated jiu-jitsu practitioner, life long martial artist, with direct ties to Royler Gracie. Highly Recommend!

Lewis' Karate Schools
I have been training BJJ at LKS for a couple years now and the positivity that comes from this school is indomitable. Respect is a two-way street and there is a clear and truthful exchange of it between Professor Lewis, Sandy and their students. Couldn't ask for better training partners, instruction and professionalism on and off the mats. Classes are challenging, practical and most of all, fun.

Quite simply - great BJJ instruction, and a great school. While both BJJ and Karate instruction are available, the culture of the school is strong and consistent across programs. Trevor Lewis is highly capable in both disciplines, level of instruction is VERY high calibre. Skills learned here have been tested in other schools in both Canada and the US, students are well prepared. Worth the effort to attend a few classes and see for yourself, you will not be disappointed.

Lewis' Karate School has been a large part of life since I began training in the summer of 2008. The school has a wonderful atmosphere and inviting environment for everybody and anybody interested in training. I am glad to say I am a staff member at LKS and would encourage anyone to try a few classes out for the physical benefits and friendships I have gained over the years.
