I have registered my son for tutoring as soon as the registration started. And received confirmation and appointment for assessment test, as I understood was for his math skills. I went to the office (45 minutes walk from my place) on time. As soon as she ( indian lady, sorry i don't know her name) saw my face, she realized that there is no more space for other children. She said they are fully booked but they have been waiting for an extension from the school board for many days. I told her that I just received a reminder for my appointment today and I get replies back and forth with them. She did apologized for that but they can't take my son since they are fully booked, and that it is first come first serve. But i got my son registered within 3 days of opening registration.This was the first time I felt discriminated since I arrived in Canada.
