New Japanese Croissant Bakery in Markville. At about 5.20 each, the variety croissants are soft and flaky to taste - but smaller in size. New flavors are out. The garlic croissants is really strong in flavor.I notice the dough texture in most if not all pasties - nowadays - are very chewy instead of being flaky and crispy. Perhaps, a low quality and GMO flour supplies. Toxicity in flour is a concern for me. This is something pastry shops have to look into first.

Super excited that a location has finally opened up in markham! Like it’s other location counterparts, they can sell out relatively quickly, but they do bake more than once or twice a day due to it being in the mall and operating under a set amount of hours. The lines can get long, so just gotta be patient when it does happen and if you spot an opportunity of no lineup, jump at the chance as soon as that happens as it doesn’t happen like that often. The croissants are just so flaky and buttery! Each bite is crispy and totally an ASMR session waiting to happen.Service was decent but due to them trying to filter through the lineup as fast as possible, not sure if it was myself, but they didn’t really ask me if there’s anything else needed for the customer. Otherwise, I would have asked about the drinks and bought one of those as well.Overall, pricey, but definitely worth the hype!Great job overall and a great addition to markville mall!Follow me on IG @thirst_and_taste for better pics and more amazing content!

Taiwanese take on Japanese croissant. Croissants are great and the variety is very unique. For me it always comes back to a classic butter croissant. The novelty is fun but short lived. The value takes it down a star. However, if you want to try something different this is a good option.

Amazing Japanese inspired croissant place, they have unique Asian flavoured croissants I've never had before. Suggest going early as they flavours are limited near end of day.

Excellent croissants and drinks! My only gripe is the price is a bit high considering the items and size, overall this place has the smallest croissants out of the local shops that produce comparable flavours and quality.Drinks are much better value and are made quite nice.I give them 8/10!

Really like this croissants, especially salted egg yolk that I bought so many times. This time I got salted egg yolk, chocolate banana, strawberry, honey garlic Right after they finished the new batch. The crust is hot and crispy, the filling is greasy, not too sweet for strawberry and banana chocolate. About the service, the staff is friendly, nice and quite fast. I didn't have to wait too long for my order.

A bit pricier than I'd like since 6 croissants comes out to over $30 but it is delicious. I'm slowly making my way through their menu but my favourite so far has to be the milk caramel. I find the custard in the custard croissant to be very bland. The salted egg yolk is good but a bit too much salted egg for my taste. The white chocolate and dark chocolate is nothing special, it's just chocolate on top of a croissant. I prefer their honeycomb to these two flavours.

First time visit- Unique, delicious and fresh pastry, lots of drink flavor options available.Very impressed with my ordering experience; staff helped me choose a drink/pastry to try my first time and I really enjoyed the croissant. This maybe just my preference, but the brown sugar bubble tea drink- I found- left a stronger taste of actual tea than other drinks. The boba texture was really good, soft and chewy, definitely taste fresh. I prefer the sweetened sugar boba (like The Alley)Prices are at the higher end, but the quality and experience seem fair. I will be coming back to try more new items!4/5 stars, a definite must try!

Drink review only! The Velvet brown sugar milk tea was really really good, but slightly disappointed with the size for the price. Still... Tasted great. The bottled cold brew is disgusting... Sorry.I'm sure the croissants are nice, but I'm not paying more than a couple bucks for that... Definitely not buying those.
