The Dockside

Diane was the best server that I have ever had in all of the restaurants that I have ever eaten in. I highly recommend this place, the atmosphere was top notch!

Food was okay (had fish and chips). A little greasy. This places charges for everything including substitutions. $3 for a piece of cheese, $3.50 gravy, $4 to sub for a salad. Prices are high too and not worth the quality of the food. Ex: lobster roll cost my sister $30, fish and chips (2 piece) was over $18.

Worst nachos I’ve probably ever had. Chips were stale and I added the chicken and it tasted like boiled chicken breast that was cut way too big and just not enjoyable. Waitress was nice though

Went for a drive along the water and found The Dockside! Great patio view so went in. Service was okay but food was not. The chowder was quite greasy and unsettling. Also order the nachos to share and they were way too loaded woth cheese and white onion.

Visited today during a pass by of Lunenburg; cute diner with many options friendly to all. Great mussels, mozzarella sticks were crunchy and stringy, and clubhouse was also delicious!Great atmosphere, props to our server Kyle for having great humour and checking in at just the right times. He turned the diner into an experience and I hope to come back and see him again!

I came for the restaurant only. The desert is amazing, I went for cherry pie and Oreo cheese cake. The staff are very nice they made my day.

Was so excited to try my first east coast seafood dish. Kyle did not disappoint. He recommended the seafood feast and I was in heaven!!! Best service and best view. Go here!!!!

Wow. What terrible service at the restaurant. We were greeted by an overly large overly unfriendly lady who advised us they’d be closing at 7:45pm (it was 5pm? Weird) and then after awkward silence she just said well go seat yourselves (we were standing in front of the sign that said wait to be seated)We then sat at a table and waited for 15minutes for a guy to walk up and ask if we had ordered drinks. Which my reply was no, no one had seen us yet. A young girl then walked over with water and menus and then disappeared. We sat for another ten minutes with no one to return before we decided to leave. As we left there was 3 servers standing around at the front chatting who didn’t even notice we left. There was a waitress working on the table next to us who walked by no less than 5 times and the place was half empty. So I have no understanding as to why the service was so bad.It’s a great location with a reasonably priced menu compared to the area just weird weird service.All is not lost we found a better place just across the road with a better view and much much better service

Excellent fish and chips. Not overly greasy and chips were the best. Pleasant server
