Edit: the stove doesn’t fit. The guy can’t even measure. Don’t recommendI am writing this review in hopes others see the unprofessional work that was provided by Valentine.First of all, he told me he would first show us the materials prior to installation, but instead he installed them right away.1. The material of the base of the island was not the correct colour I had requested. When mentioned to valentine, he said that it is rare but sometimes the company will send the wrong. Additionally, the island base was not installed into the ground.2. He had installed a laminate based countertop. The laminate was not applied correctly as there were marks along all edges, the corners were completely marked up, and there was a huge scratch on the top of the countertop. When I told him about the marks he said he would come and fix them with a PERMANNT MARKER! How would he think this was okay?3. We had floating shelves which we used the same laminate material. We ran into the same issue as the countertops (marked up). Additionally when installing them he marked up the freshly dry walled walls.4. When we mentioned all of this to him he was completely argumentative and did not want to compromise on moving forward with the project.5. THEN, he proceeded to come into my home the next day (the suite was unlocked as we were doing work), and he took the countertop and floating shelves WITHOUT our permission. This in itself is totally illegal and should be acknowledged as breaking and entering without our permission.It should also be noted that when he came into our home to remove the floating shelves and counter tops, he further marked up our walls creating holes in the drywall.The cabinets in the back had a long scratch on the inside. Overall, the project was sloppy, unprofessional, and a complete waste of time.I hope this information helps some people out there make an informed decision when looking to have cabinets installed as renovations are expensive and set backs like these are completely unacceptable.
