Winnipeg Mennonite School - Katherine Friesen Campus

We are in our 11th year as a school family and have never questioned choosing WMEMS for our 3 children. Excellent staff, wonderful school community, brand new gym, weekly hot lunch program and faith as the foundation for everything that happens. So thankful we found WMEMS.

All of the negative reviews are from a disgruntled abusive parent who the school protected the child from. Don’t believe the 1 Star reviews, this school is a great place for children to grow and be safe. Children come first here and they are beyond 5 stars.

WMEMS Katherine Friesen Campus is a wonderful school with so many opportunities for students to grow - in their academics; creative outlets & confidence. The staff is caring and take an interest in each child. Great school!

The only people giving this school a good rating actually work there. Nice. This campus is no different than where we sent our son. It was the single biggest mistake we ever made leaving our child in their care for 5 years. So thankful that we finally saw the light and left. He is thriving in public school! Thanks for making the decision to leave so easy!

Have heard excellent things about this school from friends and heard from a current student how much they love attending this school.Having attended private school myself as a child, I do remember the religious aspect taking up some time that could have been spent on other subjects, but considering education is not taken seriously until at least high school, I think the morals and values implemented through religious studies goes a long way in the development of a child.Concerning the negative reviews, I believe they are friends of a mother who had a bad experience with the school and told her friends to post negative reviews. Considering that mother lost custody of the child due to her lifestyle, you can judge for yourself whether those reviews should be taken seriously or not.

Both of my kids love attending WMEMS. The staff is caring and respectful. I love how the school embraces Christian Education and songs into their daily life.

We are very grateful to the staff and students for making what could have been a tough school transition go very smoothly. We are very satisfied with the quality of the education, the leadership, and the effort expended to foster a positive environment for all students.

Our granddaughter attended WMEMS and I cannot speak highly enough of the school and staff. The environment provided was caring and nurturing. The educational standards are high and the commitment to inclusion and diversity was always evident in school functions. Both my boys attended this school and loved every minute of it. They were loved, supported, and respected by their friends as well as their teachers. The staff at WMEMS love their students for who they are and recognize that each child is a precious gift from God. They are dedicated to guide each child in their own journey towards Jesus.

All three of our children went through these schools WMEMS KF and WMEMS Bedson and had an excellent experience. Strong academics with high expectations. A solid Mennonite Christian perspective in a secular world! Great schools to set a strong foundation for your children. All three of our kids were extremely well prepared for the high schools they moved on to and are excelling both in high school and university.
