Ignore the negative reviews. I am a local and have been here since the beginning of 2018. Dr. Tan sees my whole family and helped me throughout my two pregnancies and helped me deliver two healthy babies. She helpswith our annual checkups and flu shots. The receptionists are nice to me, I've never had any problems with them. My usual wait time is around 15 minutes and I've been here so many times - probably 40-50 times. Dr. Tan is very experienced, knowledgeable and efficient - exactly what I want in a doctor. Thank you to Affinity Medical Clinic for taking care of my family!

Dr Emily Chang is fantastic. She cares a lot about my wellbeing. She never hesitate to give me referrals to specialist on my hip pain, irregular heart beat, skin problem. She sends me for blood test every 3 months to make sure I have the correct dose of thyroid pills. I am involved in a car accident lately which result in a severe concussion and neck injury, she follows up constantly with my pain and help me through my lengthy recovery.

Avoid it as you can. TBH, the doctors are fair and provide good health advices; however, the receptionist is very unprofessional and not customer oriented.For example, they won’t check your MSP still validate(I’m renewing it and didn’t notice the old expiration date before the appointment) and charge your diagonsis fee. It is hard for you to reimburse it from bc gov. Alternative way, they can charge you later within msp validate period but they don’t care.

Some doctor’s simply see you as a walking paycheck.Their demographic appears to be people who have no other choice but to come because they are new to the country/don’t speak English and don’t know the healthcare system.If you have options, you could probably get better care and service literally anywhere else.

We visited Affinity clinic for the first time today. The front receptions are polite and efficient. The office is modern, clean, tidy and well kept. Dr. Brenda Tan is very patient, caring and professional. She took her time to carefully examine and clearly explain the treatment options and its pros and cons to us. We have had a great experience.

Worst service in Richmond Vancouver. Will not come back!

Really poor service, no wonder there are not so many patients. The specialist Dr. Yue referred my mother to is dr. Edward Tam. He won’t see patient in person, and his receptionist only responded via email or text message. How this possible for a clinic? Wr just want some other options, Dr Yue totally ignored me. My mother just arrived Canada and she doesn’t know how the system works here, she couldn’t respond to Dr Yue’s questions. This place is totally a mess, won’t come back. Isn’t it patient’s right to choose in person or virtual care? The college has issued notice long time ago for returning to office care. Should we just have some options?

if you have a different choice for a family doctor, stay away from this place. It’s always about charging you extra (and has to be paid in cash, very shady). I had it once asking the doctor for a referral, she rolled her eyes on me thinking it’s very unnecessary. I just love their services there, ridiculous. Also another time of visit, wanting to ask a question that’s kind of related to why I was there, then she said I needed to make another appointment for that question because this time I only mentioned one question at the time of booking.. so she won’t answer my second question. Anyway, golden advice here: avoid this clinic if you can.

If they have an option for zero star, I will totally give them that. Don't get me wrong, the doctors here are mostly good, but the 1 star review is mainly for the receptionist.They have two receptionists there, one with glasses and one without. The one without glasses is always having a not so happy face and a bit of attitude; however, she does her job well. The other one that's without glasses, I believe her name is Nicole, she does her job terribly.Couple times when I visit the clinic and waiting to check-in upon arrival, this receptionist, Nicole, is always chit chatting with some other visitors. And every time she'd ask me to wait for her to finish her conversations first until I can check-in. That is still fine, you like to talk and you need to talk then it's fine, I can just wait. But recently something more happened and I think I really need to leave a comment about her here.There's was one time that I called to make an appointment for myself and my child, I told her right away I wanted to book Aug 29th, she then asked me who's my doctor and I gave her the name of my doctor. Then she said my doctor is not working on that day, so I said I can see other doctors if she's not here (because I have done this couple times before). But she said it is better for me to see my own doctor, soI said okay then can you please tell me which date will my doctor be available?"She said "Next Monday."I said "Umm... next Monday is what date?"She said "Oh
