Food is hit and miss. But overall, the owners (Facebook page, Facebook messenger) do not reply to your complaints. Best to order through Uber eats so you can Atleast get your money back. Maybe try another place. My friend is also Trinidad and was grossed out at how much fat are in these dishes versus the meat content (your portions are small or they will try to put more rice in to make it look bigger)

Two Sunday ago I decided to try Caribbean Stove Pickup. I bought 1 medium Oxtail with steamed veges, 1 medium stew chicken. Went home ate the steamed veges, went I got to the rice and peas it was sour. The rice and peas was bad (rancid). I moved stuff around to see if all of the rice was rancid and it was. Called my sister she verified it smelled bad as well. Tasted my son's plain rice it too was rancid. I took the food back. I was told I could not get my money back. I mention to the girl behind the counter that I am Trini and I know when rice is no good. She told me that she did not know that Trini people knew anything about Oxtail. I had to laugh and had to tell her Trini people cook Oxtail, Jerk etc...even mentioned I cook Oxtail as well. I did not cook because I had taken my son and one of his friend's ice skating. Now I am not sure if they did not want to cook a new batch of rice when I ordered my food because they are closed Monday's and told me to come in to see the Manager Tuesday morning. Well I have to work. Finally last Sunday Jan.29th 2023 got to speak to the manager, she said I ate most of the food..I have no reason to lie and I did eat the steamed veges to get out of the way. I did not eat the meat which she said I did. one of the girls that I ordered from came around the corner. I said to her how can you lie like this, you know i did not eat the meat. So with the manager not entertaining customer service, I told if it's my money she wants, keep my money. Why would I lie when at the end of the day my son and I paid 37.29 got no money back or food and had to go get supper elsewhere still. Hopefully they choke on my money or their rancid food...by far the nastiest food I have ever ordered.

We ordered the curry goat with rice and peas with a side of coleslaw, jerk chicken with rice and peas with a side of steam vegetables, a spicy beef patty, and a double. They got one of our orders wrong as we got the curry chicken instead of the jerk chicken. I was a little disappointed about not being able to try the jerk chicken, however, the curry chicken did not disappoint. Everything we got was pretty good and flavorful even the steam vegetables was seasoned. I would definitely come back if I am craving Caribbean food.

My family and I really enjoy the cuisine. There’s only five stars but y’all need some more top-notch food we refuse to eat anywhere else.

Never had a bad experience with Caribbean Stove PickUp. Prices are great, the jerk chicken is delicious and juicy, and the coleslaw is the best I’ve ever had.

I had an incident with the container the food was in. When I picked up the food and I got to my destination, the container had soaked up the sauce/gravy and became soft. As I attempted to remove the container from the bag it folded in two. All the rice and goat, being the heavier side, fell to the ground. There went my $19 and my lunch. Please warn your customers about the container or go back to styro.

Ordered a couple of Doubles with pepper and none pepper. I’m a Trini so was excited to order but ended up disappointed:( the doubles were not wrapped like a double supposed to look looked more like a subway wrap. Know for me when I eat food I finish the plate but after a couple of bites I ended up throwing the food away which is not like me. May have to find another Trinidad spot even if I have to drive 2 hours for good Trini food. Shame I ordered a few to make sure this is the one if this turned out good I was looking to make more orders including a big order for Family visit which would of been over $200 for next week

I ordered from DoorDash pickup, I went to pick up right away, cold food , less quantity for large meal , worst jerk chicken ever, chicken was dry , jerk marination tasted really bad, steamed vegetable were cold and had too much black pepper . Will never order again

Hole in the wall Trini/Jamaican restaurant that only does takeout. The service is very fast and the order was ready within 10 minutes.Food was great, got the Jerk Chicken meal which comes with coleslaw. Not the best I’ve had but still pretty good. Doubles were very small for $4 and had barely any filling. Patty was also standard. It was a good meal but I was expecting more.

Fabulous have missed this place after 4 years in Europe. Goat and chicken roti superb and a huge portion, patties, and plantain a real treat. You can't buy such brilliant food in Europe sadly.
