Cozy and comfortable place, good ambience close to the beach.The food was amazing! Portions were good size.The server, very nice girl, told us about the recepie of the food we ordered.Prices are reasonable.

I would like to give my opinion about Gilaneh Restaurant. It was really good. The food was excellent, and the staff was great. The tender and delicious sour (torsh) kebab was outstanding, and the kobide kebab was also good. However, the Basmati rice was a bit disappointing; it would have been excellent if they used Iranian rice. Overall, the staff, service, and ambiance were excellent. I myself am skilled in making kebabs, and I found it acceptable. I should also mention that the kebab size were small, and the prices were high. , it's okay.

Gheime Tahdig was delicious, but the Tahdig actually was old rice !I dont recommend the Lamb shank , but Kabab torsh was fine , not sour though, taste sweet but goodTry the Yoghurt too it was awsome

Excellent meal. The food is very traditional and our server did a amazing job of explaining everything. The menu has photos lol so you can see exactly what you’re getting. Portions are huge and the food was so tasty. Highly recommend.

I was visiting BC and ordered through DoorDash.The food was ok. The Kabab Torsh wasn’t really like the original kabab Torsh (if we compare it to what we have in north of Iran! This kabab was not the same even the taste and the spices)My friend got koobideh which I think that was better.They forgot to put spoon and fork!!I think for the quality this restaurant is pricey compared to others!!

Gillaneh is my favourite Iranian restaurant in Vancouver. If you missed the Persian cuisine, this is the place you should try it. You can eat the best Fesenjoon in Gillaneh Restaurant. Sour Kebab was also tasty. The restaurant is calm and cozy and the staff are welcoming. Highly recommended.

Foods are delicious and well presented. Great portions of foods which are tasty and with good ingredients quality. Great service and cosy and nice ambiance. The place is close to beach which makes it great to chill out after a eating large portions of food. We tried lamb shank with dill rice and chicken koubideh kabobs which both were good. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Beautiful restaurant with nice atmosphere. Food was eatable. Not outstanding. Very nice presentation though. The service was terrible. The servers keep rushing us to order and then to clear the table. We were 3 people trying to enjoy a conversation which was constantly interrupted. The restaurant wasn't full, it wasn't late and there was no wait line. Not sure what all that rush was about. They also didn't know the menu nor could they explain the dishes. Ordered almost blindly.

The worst Persian restaurant I’ve ever been in.The food quality was terrible. Cheapest ingredients and it taste terrible. Don’t get fooled by the prices on the menu in the website. When the bill came for such a bad food we were shocked and showed them the prices we saw on the website and chose to go there, they were so mad and told us that those prices are for 2 years ago. Poor girl who was working there told us that this has happened before but there is nothing I can do. I think the owner just doesn’t care. I should have read the reviews before going there.If you want to taste a good food for the very high price you pay, don’t waste your money here.Won’t return and make sure none of the people I know would ever come here.

This was our first time being in this restaurant. We were expecting a better greeting, but unfortunately, we faced a non smiling and a very cold greeting. However, the second woman coming to the table was much warmer. At first they brought three plates, one of which was dirty with some food stains on. We ordered Tahdigh with Khoresht, which came without any meat and chips for Gheymeh, we also ordered Ceaser salad, which came without any grilled chicken on. The final order, which was Kabab Kubideh Zafarani, was good.
