Sour Apple Beauty Bar

Elysha was extremely thorough with my pedicure today. Really took her time and I love the results. Thank you for helping this mama out :)

My mom and I recently had a manicure and pedicure completed at Sour Apple for my brother’s wedding. I had the worst gel polish manicure with sparkles that I have ever seen!The sparkles starting coming off within minutes of leaving Sour Apple. The sparkles were hanging over the edges of my nails and catching on everything. I have written Sour Apple an email with photos in which they have ignored for over a week. I have previously been here with good experiences with Dana and Olivia but I won’t be going back.

Update:Reached out a week ago after the reply to the review via their website contact section, the same way I reached out last year, and no response. Maybe there's a small error on the siteCame here to get my wedding nails done last year and unfortunately didn't have a good experience. Everyone was nice, but super rushed and must not have taken the time to make them last. The flowers done ended up bubbling and partially chipping off the next day. The nail extensions added were uneven and snagged on my clothes, and underneath there was a ton of excess glue or something that I had to pick out. Then 4 days later 2 of the nails broke off. I contacted through the site seeing if I could get them redone before going on my honeymoon, but no response. Unfortunate experience because I had a few recommendations to come here.

I’ve been visiting Sour Apple for years now and I refuse to go anywhere else for my manicures and pedicures. More recently, I’ve had dermaplaning and eyebrow threading done here, both of which were also fantastic services. The spa is always clean and well maintained, and all of the staff that work here are wonderful people.

I got my pedi re done with Natasha and she was so sweet! Love my toes they look super good. Gave such a good massage and I love the salon so much, so clean and cute inside!!! Definitely recommend. The owner definitely cares about her customers!

Lovely ladies and great merchandise. Such a cozy atomosphere with an extensive repertoire of colours to choose from.

Had a great pedicure experience today with Mila! She was very professional and asked throughout my appointment how things were going, which is greatly appreciated! Will definitely be back and really enjoyed my visit

I had the pleasure of being gifted a birthday present by a dear friend back in June 2021. The gift was a manicure and pedicure. I loved the experience of being pampered which is something I rarely get to do. Thank you LAINE for my beautiful nails!

UPDATE:I was pleased that the business responded. I booked a new appointment, was taken in on time and enjoyed a great pedicure.Booked an appointment online weeks ago.I received the confirmation of booking, a reminder email two days ago, which I confirmed, and a reminder text the day of my appointment. I showed up 15 minutes early. Was told they weren’t ready yet but would be ready at 5:30. That was perfectly fine. I went for a walk and came back at 5:30 only to be told that they over booked and couldn’t do my pedicure at my scheduled time. As I was leaving for vacation, I could not wait.Manager came over and said sorry, nothing we can do. I left with no pedicure and feeling totally underwhelmed by their response. I go for regular pedicures and thought I would try out this place looked great, with good reviews. Guess I’ll never know.
