Great place for teens

I watched my son go down hill for 3 years. After an attempted suicide which left him with more long term issues he was finally admitted here. Only to be dropped off at the Sussex rcmp station with his clothes within 3 weeks! They say they sent his birth certificate, Id, medicare card and personal medical assessments via mail but I never received them. (Lost) with no regard by the staff. Poor service and complete disregard for a youth in need.

Do. not. go. there!! Specifically if you are claustrophobic or have really bad anxiety. The staff is absolutely horrible! They will put you in a room with anyone and the hallways are not even 2 meters large, it'sa prison feel. They don't take into consideration that people who are in withdrawal ALSO have feelings. They will leave you there dehydrated and starved if you can't keep anything down and the nurse will tell you she can't do anything for you. My kid went through humiliation and trauma from the staff members, being laughed at for being emotional and wanting to be home. Don't waste your time and do what's TRULY healthy for your loved ones, please.

It was not a good experience for me personally.

They are helping young adults cope and to see life can be good without the scourge of drugs looming amidst their thought processes. Thank you for that. Never give up as they are fixable and need love.
