Quesada Burritos & Tacos

My partner and I visited and were amazed at not only the quality of food, but also the service..This is easily one of, if not the best meal we’ve ever eaten. I recommend this place enough! Such a warm and welcoming environment!

Hygeine was a little issue. As a mexican restuarant, it was fine but not the best. Server had a poker face. A little smile won'y hurt. Can do better.

The customer service sucks at this place. It seems like the lady at the counter is forced to work there or has other problems going on in her life because of which she thinks she can be rude to customers all the time.

Extremely slow, inefficient service during lunch hour. Churros are tiny and overpriced

As far as fresh mex goes, this place was thoroughly meh. The chicken was barely seasoned, and the black beans were undercooked.

Came here based on the reviews, but now at closer look I think many of these are fake and vague reviews. Service was underwhelming. No smiles on the 4 staff there. Tables were dirty. It's a less popular, smaller portioned Chipotle (Maybe 30, 40% smaller burrito bowl). 4 stars still because the flavour was quite good.

I recently visited a burrito restaurant and was blown away by the delicious food and friendly staff. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and made to feel right at home.The restaurant had a great atmosphere, with colorful decor and upbeat music playing in the background. The menu was extensive and offered a wide range of burritos, tacos, and other Mexican favorites. I decided to try their signature burrito and was not disappointed. It was packed with flavorful ingredients and cooked to perfection.

First of all, I’ll start by saying I’m confident that most reviews for this restaurant on here seem fake. I have always loved Quesada food since many years. I have had it all over Canada in many different cities ever since their early days in downtown Toronto. I have a been a regular customer for years, so I was thrilled when I saw this location was opening since I live fairly close. My friend got me a generous $100 gift card for my birthday. So I was looking forward to redeem it here. The first day I went in, the employee said she doesn’t know how to use it, and apparently she wasn’t allowed to call the manager/owner to ask for help/direction. I said ok no worries, and asked her to figure it out and learn from the manager since I would like to use it in my next visit. I went back 10 days later, and they still couldn’t redeem my gift card. They said it’s the problem with the system. So they took my phone number and asked me to go back to pay once they had it figured out. This was very frustrating, so I contacted Quesada, and was really hoping for a solution, since I did want to use my gift card. No reply from anyone!Fine, I let it slide, giving them another chance today. I have to say today was the most humiliating experience I have ever experienced at any restaurant in my life. Ever since I entered the restaurant, the two regular employees who served me before were speaking in their language something about me as if their owner already instructed them about how to avoid using my gift card, to give me a hard time, so I don’t return. One of the employees distracted me while the other one went inside to quickly call the owner and came back. She told me I HAD to use another form of payment, and she did not even try to use my gift card. I asked to speak with the owner. The owner told me their moneris system has some issues with accepting gift cards, and I HAD to use another form of payment. Again, they did not even attempt to use my gift card. He said it’s this building that has some wiring issues. Just to confirm this lie, I went next door to another shop, and asked if they had issues with their moneris system to redeem the gift card. They said no, they had just used one few minutes earlier.The Quesada owner’s goal was to not honor the gift card for me, but also to make sure I do not return to his restaurant. When I asked for a solution for this, he said I will just have to pay for my food using a different form of payment while visiting his restaurant. I said I will have to take this further because I am looking for a solution. At this point he threatened me by saying he received my email already, and there was nothing more for me to do. And yet he didn’t reply, and that was the reason I felt he wanted to kick me out of his restaurant. He was extremely rude and unapologetic. I may have come across some difficult employees at some restaurants in the past, but never an owner.Now, coming to the food itself. The portion size is about half the portion compared to other Quesada locations. The employees also have an attitude, and they don’t follow instructions. They are very poorly trained and clearly instructed about putting less portion. I believe this location is open for at least 6 months now. So their excuse of being new is not valid anymore.The owner mentioned he has 3 locations, and it is such a shame that these 3 locations are cheating their customers, and absolutely ruining the brand reputation.I would like an answer from Quesada corporation.

Stopped by for lunch at this Quesada at Canada Place before my flight back home later in the day.I ordered a regular spicy chicken burrito on flour tortilla with rice, beans, salsa verde (medium spicy), tomatoes, corn, onions, cilantro, jalapeños, lettuce, cheese, and cilantro-lime sour cream. The burrito was spicy and very flavourful. It was the perfect size for me for lunch and was reasonably priced.I sat by an electrical outlet and pulled out my wall charger and was gratefully able to charge my phone while I ate lunch. The staff were friendly. The view of the harbor was also wonderful.All in all, I was pleasantly surprised at this fast casual Canadian Tex-Mex restaurant. Stop by here for one of your casual meals if you're at Canada Place - you won't be disappointed!
