We've been with Horizon and Master Sanchez since 2009. He is an exceptional teacher who understands people and what they need to succeed. He is empathetic, kind, understanding but also tough when it is needed. The facilities are excellent and he follows ITF perfectly. His teaching has been a blessing for me and my family. Highly recommended!

I have had the pleasure of being involved with the Horizon Taekwon-Do & Family Fitness Centre for over 20 years. Master Sanchez is incredibly knowledgeable and skilled in his martial arts disciplines and always happy to share his expertise with his students. The studio is clean, well-lit, and spacious, with plenty of room for students to move around and practice their techniques and the emphasis on safety, respect and the tenants of Taekwondo is very evident. The instructors at the studio are also incredibly knowledgeable and very skilled offering patience, encouragement and always willing to answer questions. They also stress the importance of showing respect to both the instructors and fellow students, creating a friendly and positive atmosphere in the studio. I would highly recommend this martial arts studio to anyone looking to learn or improve their skills in a safe, supportive, and challenging environment. They are like family and never forget their past students or strong bonds developed over the years.

My son started taking classes at Horizon Taekwondo over 11 years ago, and I am absolutely thrilled with my experience so far. From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted warmly by the staff and made to feel right at home. The facility itself is modern, clean, and well-maintained, with plenty of space for training and a variety of equipment to work with. There is a full gym in the back that is open to family members who can work out while their kids are in class. Family fitness!Master Sanchez is highly skilled and knowledgeable, and he takes the time to work with each student individually to help them achieve their goals. My child has been a member of Horizon Taekwon-do for the past year. Horizon came highly recommended from a couple of personal friends, whose kids were really happy to be there. And they were definitely right. Master Louie is a wonderful leader and the team of coaches make Horizon a great learning environment. This family run business really values its members.

Horizon TaeKwon Do has been an amazing experience for my twin boys. They have been going for over 2 years and learned so much from Master Sanchez and we plan on continuing all the way to black belts. He is really good with kids, encouraging while maintaining respect in his class. Master Sanchez (and his wife Claudia) truly care about the kids and go above and beyond to ensure a positive experience. Everyone loves them! Our daughter has been going to Horizon Taekwondo in Oakville since early 2022. She absolutely loves it! She is in the after school program this year - it offers amazing exercise, a safe and caring environment, and great motivation to achieve personal goals. Master Sanchez is exceptional with children - he has the perfect balance of setting high expectations, demonstrating and instilling core values, and also being compassionate and flexible when a softer approach is appropriate. Students at Horizon Taekwondo are learning a wide range of skills from martial arts, to self defence, to interpersonal and self regulation. What a wonderful resource in our community.

When looking for a martial arts facility in which to enrol our, at the time school age sons, two different sets of friends recommended Horizon Taekwondo primarily because of its head instructor Louis Sanchez. I was so impressed with Horizon Taekwondo that I became a student myself, eventually grading for my third degree blackbelt. Fitness, respect, and proper technique are always at the forefront of all classes. Louis Sanchez has that rare gift of inspiring discipline in the kids, while, at the same time, getting them to have fun while doing it. Highly recommended!

My son has joined this club 10 years ago and is still an active black belt member. This is not just a sport, Horizon Taekwon-Do is also a social club with different events and celebrations not just for kids, but for family members as well.
