Quaint, small spot. Had the burger and onion rings. Both were good. Burger pattie was homemade.Service was prompt and courteous.The burger was recommended by a friendly and sincere employee (Emily) that was there off shift.If I'm in town again, I will definitely be back.

Came here with my son. I haven't had such a pleasant experience in a long time. The staff were very sweet, we were served by Renee. The beer selection is great. We had the fish and chips and both parts were perfectly done. The decor is on point, the seating is comfortable, and we were lucky to show up on a live music night. We sat in a booth on the restaurant side (there is a side that faces the stage) and the volume of the band was just right. Highly highly recommend!

I've been here a few times in the day when it wasn't busy and was okay with the food and service.Last night I took my family there (it was a Wednesday night at dinner hour).We sat down and I ordered a beer and my kids ordered waters. I got my beer after about ten minutes, it was a little flat but i didnt want to wait for another one. I finished my entire pint without my family even getting their drinks or taking their order.I think the owner/manager and a lady were in the place and were eating. The sole waitress was attempting to serve all the tables in the front and back of the place. The young lady then went up to the waitress and said something like breathe

We have been here a few times and normally it's quite good. The last time we went you could smell the oil needed to be changed, the beer and fountain pop were both flat, and they only had one waitress serving all the tables in a full restaurant. The food was just okay.

First time visiting the Old Familiar, and it did not disappoint. Very kind and friendly server and delicious food. Nice to have such a big patio!

We had lunch here today, and I ordered the fish and chips, which is made with halibut. The waitress asked me if I wanted one or two pieces, and I said two because usually places give you small pieces. These were humongous, and I ended up taking one home. The fish was fresh and beautifully fried, and possibly some of the best fried halibut I’ve ever had. The fries were also good, and the coleslaw was vinegar based coleslaw, which I prefer. My friend had the nachos and enjoyed them. The service was excellent.

We just went in for a quick drink and got a plate of nachoes- our only disappointment was that there wasn't more. That says a lot when there aren't a whole bunch of nacho chips left nekkid".They had a singer on guitar who was great.Friendly waitress. I'd go again."

10/10 I ate at the Old Familiar today for the first time. My father & I had lunch, it was wonderful! He had the club house sandwich and salad, & I had the half quesadilla. His sandwich was delicious he wanted to order another and the garden salad was fresh and full of yummy toppings. Even though I order the half quesadilla it was plenty of food for me and even had some to take home! The salsa it was served with was to die for, very fresh and flavorful! To top it off our server Brendan was fantastic! He was attentive & friendly. I will eat here again and recommend to anyone in the area!
