Grandview Inn

I never complain I just feel I have to this time. All in all it was ok, my complaint is for one staff member. If this was my motel I would be ashamed having someone with such poor professionalism who was turning away business. At the end of my stay I ended up spending just under $2200.00 and the whole time she made me feel uncomfortable, judged exc. Never was I late for payment I even wanted to pre pay for a few nights and she wouldn't accept it . She would come scream through my window at 10:15am saying I have to get out and check out they were full.. meanwhile when I returned later on to pick up a left bag, a different employee said of course I could keep staying and they were not at all fully booked. Another younger girl one of my last nights didn't want to rent my father a room the next day she stated the same and was very rude..and of course the manager ( who was awesome!)came on shift so I asked and she said absolutely I was able to book another room! This is a horrible way to make someone feel especially a paying customer. I would understand this treatment maybe if I was disrespectful or loud, not curtious of other staying guests but I can honestly say I was. I even asked her if there was a problem as this was really bothering me and she said no, no problem..Other than that one employee my stay was good:)

Only hotel from Chilliwack to Vancouver that was available the weekend we were down there. Didn’t end up staying there Cleanin staff supposedly cleaned room at 10 pm at night. Smelled clean with all the air freshener that was sprayed. The pillows had hair all over them the sheets were dirty looked like they have bed bugs. If your looking for a by the hour hotel this is your place. They tell you they will refund your money but they don’t. Absolute dive. Wouldn’t recommend it and definitely wouldn’t stay there unless your not worried about what you may catch.

Good value, no AC, no coffee and the bed wasn't very comfy. It is a budget motel so I wasn't upset about it. Conveniently located behind a Ricky's and next to a gas station. Would stay again for sure.

It was adequate for our needs. We were attending an event nearby and just needed a place to sleep.The unit was clean with the exception of a touch of mould in one corner. Never used the shower.It was quiet.We forgot a couple of items and when I called back to arrange for someone to pick them up the staff member I spoke with said they didn’t see anything in the unit but would check with the cleaners and get back to me. Never heard back. Good thing they were not expensive items but that is not the point.We will not likely stay there again.

I don't usually write reviews but I will for this dump. The lady, I think the manager, was very very rude. Our hotel room was filthy, our comforter had some sort of poop looking giant spot on it, maybe melted chocolate or maybe something grosser. We lifted up the sheets and the the mattress cover had tons of hair and dirt. The shower had hair in it and the pillow cases looked dirty with yellow spots. It was overpriced and when we checked out we asked the man to have the manager call us and it's now been a week with no call, when we asked for a towel she gave us a ratty ripped up towel and when we asked for toilet paper she said all she had was a half used role.Save yourself money and time and don't stay here.

They have participated to take some homeless people and I am one now the problem that is going on is they are not taking the homeless from the south Surrey they are bringing homeless people from other towns. Now the these people from other towns are doing alot of crime now I'm from south Surrey and I understand that residents are getting mad having there stuff stolen I don't know why or understand why we are not housing our residents and send the other homeless people back to there towns it would stop alot of this problems we are having

Worst experience in a hotel/motel/inn ever!!Walls were paper thin, could hear the nefarious goings on in all the rooms around us.We’re pretty sure there was a drug incident in the neighboring room and the ambulance and firemen had to arrive.Would never return! Don’t make the same mistake we did. DON’T GO HERE.Unless you want to get up to shady goings on avoid this place. We thought it would be clean and quiet. It was neither. Very unclean once we inspected it more. Not our hair on the bathroom floor and on the extra blanket. No hair dryer, no coffee, no iron. Just not worth it at all.

Clean, nice staff in office, pet friendly and the price was right. I highly recommend this hotel. Also has a small fridge and a microwave if you need it.

worst place ive ever stayed and ive stayed in about a hundred hotels/motels and inns all across canada. I asked for two keys when we checked in and were told they only had one for each room. Then when I thought I had the key and stepped out to grab my bag from the car i got locked out. i tried calling the manger for help around 10:40pm only to be yelled at right away and told it was my fault. All my meds, ID and phone were in the room. it took 3 hours of my step dad and boyfriend texting, calling and leaving voicemails.. only for her to say we were stealing her time. she finally called the cops and they showed up just before 2am. the cops felt so bad for me.. when they finally called the manager it took her 2 MINUTES TO WALK to the hotel. not to mention there was blood stains in my room. also mold in the bathrooms and plastic bags tied around the pipes in the bathroom. I would way rather spend the night in my car than this inn and if I could give it zero stars i would
