Radium Hot Springs

The only good thing about this experience was the ladies who clean the change rooms, they were absolute sweethearts. As for the lady up front, she needs to be humbled or fired. They use to give tickets or pieces of paper when we bought the single admission, now they don't anymore. Not to mention the prices have gone up, yet there is no rhyme or reason as to why the prices are now what they are. The change rooms haven't changed either, they're absolutely disgusting. It's a sensory nightmare being in a change room, let alone a dirty one. There's hair, mud, dirt, God knows what else on the floors and benches. The machine to dry off your swim wear is broken still? Can someone get it fixed?The cold pool is closed and under construction, that takes away half the experience and fun of this place. Why should I pay $10 more just to sit in the hot pool? They don't take complaints apparently, they just give you an email and then have the audacity to laugh in your face about it.This place isn't what it used to be, and it's taking a turn for the worse. Hopefully it changes and gets better.

One of the better springs I have visited. Multiple pools for your comfort, one 84 degrees and the other 102 degrees. They are both a good size so you are not close to other swimmers. The area is awesome, cliffs, and beautiful scenery with a good chance at seeing some wildlife. The dressing rooms are spacious and they even have little devices to help dry your clothes a bit if you are traveling through. Lots of room for parking but might be rough full trailers/RV’s if they are busy. Great place to spend sometime if you can.

We were expecting a natural stone hot spring at Radium in Sept 2022. The spring was renovated after a fire in 2018 and is now lined like a swimming pool instead of a natural stone hot spring. You still get a hot spring experience with 1 hot spring pool for relaxation and a separate cold pool with a kiddie slide on 1 side and a deeper side to do laps. The hot springs have pockets of cooler spots if you find the pool too hot. The entire facility is clean, inside and out. We love that they have a spin machine to get excess water off your bathingsuit. They have a friendly staff for first-timers, too. We are happy they reopened after the fire and were able to experience Radium.

This was a way better experience than I thought it would be. These springs are flowed into a pool and it's shallows, around 3-4 ft but also very shallow at one end. You pay, are assigned a locker and directed to a changing room where you must shower with soap before entering the water. It's $8 for one visit but there is a day pass where you can come and go. There are lifeguards at the pool and they don't let too many people at one time. It's a large, sparkling clean pool. It feels incredible!!!. I think it's 102⁰ average but hotter by the shallowness part. It is outdoors with view of the woods and mountains nearby. When you are finished floating, lounging, relaxing in the odorless, mineral spring, you can also use the regular pool, non heated. I did not check this out so i have no idea what temp it is. You can also have a full on shower with hot water in the dressing room which is great if you have been camping. I would give this more than 5 stars if I could.

Large hot pool. Not uncomfortable, but need to take a break from it after a while. Deepest less than five feet. Small cold pool nearby. Large cool pool was closed for renovation. Building is very modern and locker areas were clean and well maintained.

The place was really amazing. The staff was very friendly. It was my first time coming here and I am really shocked, how beautiful it is. It's very clean and the Hot Springs was very relaxing. Will definitely come back. No filter needed. I had fun with my friends.

Amazing well maintained hot spring surrounded by mountains. Its so relaxing to be in the hot pool and enjoy the view. The washrooms, showers were well kempt lockers were included in the admissions, towels were not, there is extra charge for towels and shampoo, but we bought our own. Kids had a lot of fun. There was nice spacious picnic area outside as shown in images, there are quite a bit of trails to hike again as shown in images. Ample parking and washrooms, even spa massage available fpr extra charges. One less start because one of the pool was under construction, as shown in images, but price was not lowered during that construction period. Over all highly recommended especially due to view. This was one of the best highlights of our trip out West. Radium was super relaxing dip in a nice warm mineral pool..out kids didn't allow for us to stay long. Beware, the prices have now changed after 25 years to $17 per person. You can do a family of 4 for $53 and add any extras that will give you the best rates, comes with a locker per person.

Great little pool in the mountains. They are redoing the pool, and it looks amazing. The hot pool was relaxing and bug enough to stretch out in. Friendly staff. Very clean place. Reasonably priced.

This is my favourite place to go in Canada. Been coming for almost 40+ years.Love love love it.It can show it’s age, and both pools are not always open, but when they are and it’s not crowded, this IS my happy place.I am grateful every time i can visit.We usually come at the end of the season to avoid the crowds.
